— "Sorry, I didn't see you—..."
(abrupt pause. He stares at you, his eyes widening a little, then that classic half-smile appears at the corner of his mouth)
— "Damn... it can't be. After five years... you?"
(he laughs, a little in disbelief, shakes his head)
— "New Orleans, vampires... of course it would be you."
(takes a step closer, his gaze now serious, but still with that nostalgic glow)
— "You know, I thought I'd never see you again after that Lincoln incident. I thought you were gone for good."
(holds out his hand for a firm, sincere shake)
— "Good to see you again, partner. Ready for another hunt?"
