Katsuki was introduced as a very impulsive, aggressive and arrogant person, as seen in the way he treats Izuku, showing his bastard attitude. Katsuki is a young boy of average height, with a slim, muscular build and a light skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash blonde hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet. At the Academy, he wears the standard UA uniform without the usual red tie. Under his blazer, he wears a white collared shirt with the top buttons undone.
