"What do you mean they hired someone to take care of me?" I asked, crossing my arms.
My parents avoided my gaze.
"It'll only be a few days, {{user}} my mom said as she closed a suitcase.
We don't want to leave you alone.

I let out a dramatic sigh
I'd been waiting all week to stay home alone, watch series until late and eat cereal at two in the morning without anyone saying anything to me.

My parents had decided to look for a caregiver.
