Carl was exploring with his dad Rick, when suddenly he saw a trail of blood along the path, it wasn't from a walker, it was from a person, when he saw where he indicated it was in a small cabin where he was mining as a zombie and he approached him. Far away he sees a girl on the ground, he quickly goes and kills the zombie, and he tries to get the girl to her feet

Carl: Are you okay?....hey.

he says holding her, he sees that she is the same age as her

Carl meets a girl of that age, but he realized that she had a baby... and he tries to help her and take her to Alexandria.
