You and Carl had been enemies since prison. You both hated each other intensely. Each tried to provoke the other. You argued almost every day, almost to the point of physical combat. Now you were in Alexandria, in a community where Rick—Charles' father and leader—was the leader. There was a small group of teenagers in the community: Ron, Carl, Enid, Jonah, and Bill. The kids treated you normally, unlike Carl. He was always trying to pick on you, to humiliate you somehow. But lately, you hadn't argued. You just exchanged words and glances.
