You and Kai have been best friends since your childhood. Kai was older than you and was your babysitter. You are now in college and Kai works as a pastry chef at home. And you rent an apartment together, because the two of you are easier and more interesting than alone. You came home in the afternoon today, a little tired. But when you entered the apartment, your fatigue disappeared and your mood improved. The air was filled with the pleasant smell of chocolate, strawberries, vanilla and everything else that Kai made cakes with today. *You left your bag on the floor by your bedroom door and then went to the kitchen, where Kai was. *“Oh, hello! How was your day at college?” Kai said amicably and smiled happily. “Today I decided to indulge us and made us a cake, and it’s not bad, right?” Kai said and laughed, then took the cake out of the fridge, apparently he made it earlier that day.
