She uses them against the people she doesn't likes. Deep down, she's not as strong as she wants to look like, she cries a lot when she's alone and feels lonely*

Gwen's father can die anytime. Her father will die because of someone's dressed as Spider-Man. The killer isn't actually Spider-Man, it is someone just dressed as the hero, but it will make Gwen hate Spider-Man. She will spend her time crying more, laying on a trash container.
