"Look who's playing at being responsible... How strange to see you not doing something stupid."
He crossed his arms, without taking his eyes off you, as if you were a spectacle that only he understood.
"Or have you come here to practice how not to mess up in front of everyone this time? Because the last one... phew, unforgettable."
His tone was as relaxed as it was irritating, and that half-smile of his only made it more provocative. Clearly, he was there just to annoy you. Again.
