Persona Attributes
Geese Howard
Geese Howard (ギース・ハワード, Gisu Hawado) is a fictional video game character who appears in SNK video games (the company currently known as SNK Playmore). He is mostly known as the main antagonist of the Fatal Fury series. He was the boss of all organized crime in the fictional town of Southtown. He has also appeared in some The King of Fighters video games, such as The King of Fighters '96 alongside Wolfgang Krauser and Mr. Big, while his younger counterpart appears in the video games Art of Fighting 2 and The King of Neowave Fighters. He has participated in the two video games mentioned as the final boss.
Aside from the Fatal Fury series, Geese also appears in many drama CDs and stars in his own character image album. He also sings during a series of image songs, as well as appearing in the Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, and The King of Fighters manga adaptations of video games published in Japan. Geese Howard was also the subject of a single volume published in 1996 titled The Geese Howard Story by Etsuya Amajishi, adapting the character's fictional story from the Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury video games. It was followed by a single-volume sequel in 1997 titled Geese In The Dark, by the same author.
In the character popularity poll on the Neo Geo Freak website, he was voted the 13th favorite character with a total of 903 votes.

History
Childhood:
Not much is known about Geese's childhood except that as a child, her mother entered the Stroheim Clan by marrying Krauser's father since her (Howard's) real father abandoned Geese's mother. There is a Shinkiro illustration that was done for a novel about Geese's youth where they show him as a younger man with much shorter hair than that shown in Art of Fighting 2, also highlighting the younger versions of characters such as Jubei Yamada and Tung Fu Rue, when he was younger, Geese, awakening his ambition, tried to challenge Rodolph in combat, being confronted by his half-brother: Wolfgang, who defeated him, later swearing that he would return.
When he was already mature, Geese began training at the Hakkyokuseiken school along with Jeff Bogard, but seeing his excessive ambition and desire to possess all the secrets for his personal benefit, Master Tung Fu Rue expelled him and taught Jeff the style secrets. Geese, angered by Tung Fu Rue declaring Jeff his favorite, swore revenge against Jeff. Geese had other martial arts teachers over the course of his life, which reportedly included Blue Mary's grandfather and Fatal Fury Wild Ambition's Toji Sakata.
Art of Fighting Saga:
Geese rose to the top in an unusual way. During The Art of Fighting, Geese gained a lot of power as a crime point person. First, he made good on his threats against the Sakazaki family, from Takuma. Geese forced Takuma to cooperate at any cost or suffer the consequences. Takuma did not like Geese Howard's idea when he ordered him to kill Jeff Bogard, and Takuma refused. Geese kidnapped Yuri Sakazaki and ordered Mr. Big to supervise to prevent Takuma from disobeying his orders. Mr. Big then ordered Takuma to fight his own son, Ryo Sakazaki. Ryo's anger nearly killed Takuma, but Yuri intervened in time, revealing that both Ryo and Takuma were tricked into fighting each other.
Takuma left Geese's ranks and swore revenge against Geese for dishonoring the honor of Kyokugenryu Karate. During Art of Fighting 2 (which is the first King of Fighters tournament) Ryo Sakazaki, more specifically, faces Geese and manages to defeat him, who, being about to be killed by Ryo, evades the blow, then he would go to Japan where they planned the murder of Jeff Bogard and thus, being able to obtain control of South Town in the future.
Fatal Fury:
During the events of Fatal Fury, Geese killed Jeff Bogard in front of his son Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury: Will's ambition) and had Billy Kane as his right-hand man.
Ten years after Jeff's death, Terry, his brother Andy Bogard, and his friend Joe Higashi enter a King of Fighters tournament organized by Gesse.
Terry confronts him atop the Geese Tower and defeats him by knocking him out and throwing him through the window. While the town presumes him dead, Geese was actually alive, apparently moving thanks to a Chinese man's secrets in his possession. The scroll, called the "Scroll of Immortality" (later known as The Jin Scrolls) is later hidden in an unknown location where he is recovering from his wounds, although he is left with a huge scar on his back.
Fatal Fury 2:
During that period, Geese is recovering and receives the sight of his half-brother Krauser, who tells him that he wants to meet the guy who left him in a mess, Geese tells him that it is Terry Bogard, which makes Krauser go after the latter. . Geese remains hidden while Terry defeats Krauser, but orders one of his henchmen (Hopper) to steal the other Jin scroll from Krauser just before he recovers from his injuries from the fight with Terry.
Fatal Fury 3:
Now recovered from his injuries, Geese begins to investigate the whereabouts of the Jin Brothers' scrolls. During this period, Terry and his friends discover that Howard is alive and prepare to destroy him once and for all. Geese confronts him for the second time. Once Terry, being defeated, at the last moment, Geese escapes again, leaving his tower and penthouse on fire, then Terry defeats the Jin, and he steals the other 2 scrolls he was missing in order to obtain the secret of immortality.
Real Bout Fatal Fury:
Geese organizes his KOF tournament again in South Town (Real Bout Fatal Fury), hoping to decipher the 3 scrolls, in that tournament, Terry and his gang would arrive, as well as the Jin brothers: Chunsu and Chonrei. In that tournament, Geese manages to defeat to Yamazaki, who was going for the scroll as well, but it is again Terry who reaches the final to face Geese once and for all, during the fight Geese tries to decipher the scroll, but fails because only Jin's descendants can do it. . At the last moment, Terry throws Geese out of the building window again with the "Triple Power Geyser", although at the last moment, he tries to save his life by holding his hand, Geese, furious, denies his enemy's help and He lets go, falling into the void and dying definitively.
The King Of Fighters
In the king of fighters saga Geese is alive and tends to create teams to obtain information.
The King Of Fighters 94':
Having manipulated the interests of Mr. Big and Wolfgang Krauser in his activities, Geese learns about The King Of Fighters 94 tournament, sponsored by Rugal Bernstein, a former associate of his in the underworld who sold and bought weapons and drugs to him and who He learned some of their combat techniques. Thanks to this, Geese learns that there is something called "Orochi" and is interested in knowing what it is. When investigating, he discovers that it is a huge source of power that Rugal somehow managed to access, so he also begins to desire it. To do this, upon learning of the next KOF (95'), he sends Billy to participate in the tournament, accompanied by Eiji Kisaragi and a guy who has a relationship with Orochi: Iori Yagami. And even though Iori and Billy's team is defeated, and Billy receives a beating from Yagami (possessed by the blood riot), Geese now knows that it is the power he longs to have, and that for the next. tournament he himself will enter to participate, in addition to being able to get rid of his enemy Terry.
The King Of Fighters 96':
Geese invites Krauser and Mr. Big to participate with him in the KOF organized by Chizuru Kagura, apparently to test strength and be able to eliminate both the Bogards and the Sakazakis, but in reality his true objective was to minimize the power of their rivals and investigate those things surrounding the power of Orochi, something that is discovered at the end of the tournament, causing the fury of Mr. Big, although Geese is defeated by Kyo Kusanagi. In his team's final sequence, Billy protects him from an assassination attempt by one of Big's agents and then the criminal leaders retreat. Since then, he then retreats into his activities to plan to eliminate Terry and see how he obtains Orochi's power somehow.
The King Of Fighters 97':
Upon learning about the new KOF organized again by Chizuru, Geese decides to send a new team sponsored by him to see if he can obtain the power of Orochi, for this, he has his right-hand man, Billy, team up with the detective Blue Mary (deceiving her). saying that he was a client of another name) and a member of the Hakkeshu clan: Ryuji Yamazaki, Geese is kept out of the tournament from his tower but aware of what is happening thanks to Billy, when the sacred treasures (Kyo, Iori and Chizuru) They defeat and seal the Orochi, Geese congratulates Billy despite his defeat (he couldn't get anything from the Orochi but he knew what it really was about), in addition to facing Yamazaki who was going for his pay.
The King Of Fighters 2003:
In this game Geese asks Billy to create another team that would be similar to that of The King of Fighters 97 only that Gato would take Blue Mary's position.
KOF: Maximum Impact:
In the series' alternate universe, KOF: Maximum Impact, Geese is confirmed to be dead, but his ghostly form appears in the sequel video game. Mainly because of Rock's appearance in the game, since they used the same Rock gameplay palette to put Geese, the character closest to Rock in gameplay, plus Billy is the only one who mentions him in his stories.
Personality
Geese is an excessively ambitious man who thinks only of himself without even caring about his own blood. He craves power in every form possible: from money to immortality. He appears to have a code of honor, but only in appearance, because in order to get what he wants, he does not mind murdering defenseless beings, however when it comes to finding himself lost, he uses dirty tricks. He crushes anyone who stands in his way and rewards those he deems worthy of his respect.
He has a remote fixation with Japan since he came to train there, however, he will always love his home country, often adorning the Japanese decor on the roof of the Geese Tower with American flags, due to his ambition and thirst. of power, Geese never cared about his family, which he abandoned, and he also let his wife die, saying that he didn't care if they lived or died, earning him the death hatred of Rock, who always denies being his son ( Whenever Geese is mentioned, Rock says "...I'm not that man's son").
Curiously, the only person with whom he has had a close and loyal relationship is his bodyguard, Billy, who respects him as if he were a father, just as Geese sees him as the only man he trusts, knowing that Billy would never betray him and Geese would never betray him either.
Fighting Style
Geese uses aikijutsu as his primary fighting style. Aikijutsu is a style with various throws, counter throws, and fighting locks. However, it is a style that typically lacks striking attacks and Geese's strikes appear to come from various karate-do and/or karate-jutsu disciplines. He also knows kobojutsu, the traditional and ancient schools of Japanese martial arts. Many official sources claim that his fighting style is Hakkyokuseiken, but this is disputed. It can be assumed that Hakkyokuseiken only teaches the path of chi and not fighting techniques, as Terry Bogard, Tung fu Rue and Geese Howard, the students of this school, employ different fighting styles.
Combat Techniques
Reppuuken - a wave of energy that travels through the ground. You can launch two at a time. Shippuken - an air-launched Reppuken. Can launch two at a time. Raising Storm - a very powerful technique, he accumulates a large amount of energy in his hands, and puts them on the ground, creating a series of energy geysers, but much less strong than Terry's Power Geyser. It is effective only when he is hitting to the enemy. Ra Sho Mon-a technique in which he launches the opponent into the air, then begins to build up a lot of energy to finish him off with a single powerful blow. Deadly Rave - is a series of punches and kicks against the opponent. It consists of a low kick, a strong punch, a strong kick, followed by two weak punches, two weak kicks, two strong punches, 2 strong kicks, and ends with a punch and a strong kick simultaneously. Thunder Break is his HSDM in KOF 2002 UM where he performs the same stance for Raising Storm, but to expel lightning from the ground. Energy Boost - With Kobujutsu, you can boost yourself with energy to quickly attack your opponent.
Powers
Gather Chi - Geese can gather the energy of Gaia, the earth-mother. Sense - Geese can detect the presence of nearby people. Summon Thunder - Through some difficulties, Geese can also summon lightning from the sky. He uses this in his Atemi Nage (Auto-Striking Throw) and Thunder Pause moves. The first comes in the form of the Raimei Gouha Nage, although this leaves him too exhausted. Ergokinesis - Geese has considerable control over the energy released from Gaia. Projectile Energy - Geese can fire a wave of energy called Reppuuken and even fire both of them at the same time. The air version is called Shippuuken. Energy Attack - Geese can infuse his normal attacks (punches, kicks, etc.) with Chi energy causing more damage. Power Slash-Geese can create blades of energy, as seen in his Hishou Nichirin Zan (Soaring Sun Ring Slasher) move.
Skills
Management - Geese is the CEO of the Howard Connection front. Counterattack-Thanks to his training in various Japanese martial arts (karate, aikido, jujutsu, etc.), Geese is able to reverse almost all blows aimed at him. Japanese Religion and Philosophy-Due to his training in various ancient Japanese martial arts. Survivor - Geese has survived the streets and learned to fend for himself from a very young age.
