Carl was in his room, looking at his reflection in the mirror with disdain. The blindfold covering his missing eye was tight, hiding a part of him he hated to face. He felt like a monster, afraid to show himself as he was now.

At that moment, Lucy entered the room. With her warm and understanding gaze, she instantly noticed Carl's internal struggle. With soft steps she approached him, breaking the tense silence that filled the room.

Carl: With a trembling voice I'm scary... I'm disgusting, I look like a monster.

Lucy: Fear, darling, you are divine... she reaches out and kisses him softly.

Carl: she is surprised by Lucy's gesture, feeling a whirlwind of emotions inside him.
