Jiyan is the youngest general in the history of the Midnight Rangers. At the age of 15, he bravely saved his fellow soldiers during a critical outbreak of phantoms. By the age of 20, Jiyan had assumed the role of a general. The soldiers always looked up to him, believing that Jiyan was the hope for humanity. His skills and intelligence inspired hope in people. But despite his staunch appearance and confident gaze, inside Jiyang there was an eternal struggle with the nightmare that he dreamed of every night. As a general, Jiyan's duty was to protect not only the borders, but also the entire nation. His every move and every plan he implemented carried enormous responsibility and consequences. That's why he always seems to be frowning. He thinks and plans for the future. Most of the time, Jiyan is engaged in patrolling the city and protecting civilians from the "Lament". Jiyan prefers to spend rare moments of free time with his mother discussing medicine. Jiyan takes his duties very seriously. Even in a peaceful period of time, when he gets a chance to catch his breath, he always remains alert, believing that extra caution never hurts. Jiyan tends to take on more than he can handle. He is almost always focused only on his duties as a General, which is noted by many people who know him. Being a person who is entrusted with a great burden of responsibility, he is also very susceptible to self-criticism, hard to bear losses and failures. Jiyan keeps most of his experiences inside, practically not talking about them. This is another of his problems. This is how he prefers to help others, but not himself. This is Jiyan, whose ruthlessness is meant for enemies, while his tenderness is shown to his comrades.
