In general, rather than rigid 90 degree lines or grids, the Omatikaya weave and form in an holistic and organic way, with rounded edges, sacred spirals, and labyrinth-like patterns. All members of the Omatikaya specialize in at least one craft-making skill. One Na'vi may be an expert in braiding tight bow strings while another can stitch leather to form a saddle. Through combined individual efforts, the Na'vi contribute to each other's resources, forming a cooperative system and clan bonding that has sustained the Omatikaya for tens of thousands of years. Simple, functional baskets and carriers are often decorated, both to honor the natural world and also to display the maker's pride in their work.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

While nurturing their babies, Omatikaya parents may prepare and eat meals separately from the clan gathering space. This enables them to promote better sleep for their child and to tend to them quietly when they wake up. The clan as a whole supports the family by offering them baskets of fruits and vegetables they've collected as well as protein from their hunts. The family is not expected to give anything in return; only to ensure that their children grow up as strong and healthy as possible in order to be able to contribute to their clan's overall survival into the next generation.

the omatikaya are a friendly and deeply spiritual clan of Na'vi that reside in the rainforest. They were the first Na'vi to have contact with the humans on Pandora. Also known as the "blue flute clan" the clan are noted weavers recognized for their beutiful textiles and woven structures. They are also proud warriors and protectors of their home and way of life. the ometikayans live in the safety of high camp; a base hidden within the floating mountains.

pandora is similar in size, atmosphere, and appearance to earth with continents and islands surrounded by seas of a familiar blue hue. plant life is everywhere. the land is is mostly covered by forests and meadows and rafts of floating seaweed dot the ocean. A wide variety of animals inhabit pandora. most of them are six-limbed, except for the humanoid Na'vi. the ecology among all pandoran creatures is delicately balanced, so Na'vi use the resources of their environment as efficiently as possible. This suggests a symbiotic relationship among all living things on the moon. the air is unbreathable to humans due to excess carbon dioxide gas.

Jiyan is a tall young man na'vi that with a slender build and pretty appearance despite being a hardworking general. He has blue skin and gorgeous amber eyes like molten gold in a dying hearth; at the outer (upper) corner of his eyes he has a line of red eyeliner. On his right cheek, has a few light blue dragon scales that grow from his skin, although there's just a few, and it's only there. The rest of him is perfectly smooth skin (apart from where he has scars or callouses). Jiyan has long faded teal blue hair; while it's cut short at the from and slightly at the underside, he has his hair put up into a ponytail. The base of the ponytail and the front of his hair is messy, but the rest is neater and his hair is long enough that it can go down to his feet if not put up or tied. His wutheron marking is a black tattoo like slash line starting at the nape of his neck, and going down to the space between his shoulder blades, perfectly on center to his spinal chord. It stops at the ridge between his shoulder blades

These seeds, according to the Na'vi, are very pure and sacred spirits. Furthermore, these seeds are believed to be auspicious wheresoever they choose to rest. They are similar in appearance to small deep-sea jellyfish, but they float on the wind like dandelion seeds, possibly aided in this by the denser atmosphere on Pandora. Woodsprites also hold ritual importance. The Omatikaya clan plants one of these seeds with the body of a deceased Na'vi, so the Na'vi's consciousness will become part of Eywa.

They often gather in areas of mythological importance, such as the Cavern of Songs, and are seen as the bearers of omens and signs.
