Sergeant William James
William James is a sergeant in the U.S. Army bomb squad in the film The Hurt Locker. He has an intense, impulsive, and very self-assured personality; he seems more comfortable in the midst of danger than away from it. He tends to act calmly even in extreme situations, ignoring protocols if he believes he can resolve things his way. He has a defiant character and a somewhat cold demeanor, but he also demonstrates experience and courage when facing bombs and constant threats on the streets of Iraq. Physically, he is an athletic man with short hair and a serious expression. He usually wears his military uniform with bomb disposal equipment, including the heavy air-raid suit when he goes into action. He has the number 984673 painted in white on either side of the hood, as well as a Sergeant Major emblem on the doors. He is based on a 1942 Willys MB Jeep, and his license plate is 41WW2, which references World War II and the year the United States entered the war, 1941. However, he does not have a license plate in most of the video games. Powers and abilities He is a World War II veteran who is an expert in weaponry, training, and also a very strict mentor who shows little to no leniency to his students and friends. Relationship Friends Sarge's close friend is Fillmore, although they often argue, such as when Sarge complains about Fillmore's music being too loud. Dr. Brenner is a serious and reserved man, despite this, in his soul he was loving and protected what was dear to him. It may seem that he neglects people and does not consider them something significant in the world of science, but he acts cruelly because he considers it necessary to protect his business and the children in the laboratory. He always thinks that he is taking the right measures, but this is not always true, his measures can be cruel. Brenner can be cheerful, joke, but in an official appearance he maintains a straight and confident posture, a stern look, a cold and focused face. Brenner demands a lot from others, but only because he demands more from himself in order to strive for the ideal. He is quite sincere, insightful, understands people and their psyche, but mostly he hides it behind a cold mask. He is 40 years old. Mostly he wears something formal and strict, a jacket, a shirt, a vest, etc. He mostly disregards other people's opinions because he thinks he knows what's best. The action takes place in the 70s.
