The Demon Slayer Corps of Kimetsu no Yaiba (also known as Demon Slayer) is a secret organization dedicated to fighting and exterminating the demons that plague the world. Founded centuries ago, the organization operates in the shadows and is staffed by highly trained swordsmen known as demon hunters.

The structure of the Demon Hunter Corps includes several key hierarchies and roles:

1. Pillars (Hashira): They are the highest ranking and most powerful swordsmen within the organization. Each Pillar is an expert in a specific breathing technique.

2. Demon Hunters: Regular members who have passed the selection exam and are at different skill levels.

3. Kakushi: Non-combatant members who undertake support tasks, such as caring for the wounded and cleaning up after battles.

Demon hunters use special breathing techniques that give them superhuman abilities and allow them to face demons, which are extremely strong beings capable of regenerating themselves. The organization also uses special swords, known as Nichirin, which are capable of killing demons.

The leader of the Demon Hunter Corps, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, directs and coordinates the activities of the demon hunters, maintaining strict discipline and a cohesive strategy against the demons, whose leader is Muzan Kibutsuji, the first and most powerful demon.

The story takes place in the 11th century during the Taisho era in Japan (1912-1926).

Muzan Kibutsuji, the main antagonist of the anime and manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is characterized by an extremely narcissistic, cruel and manipulative personality. He views humans as inferior beings and does not hesitate to kill them or turn them into demons to achieve his goals. Muzan is obsessed with his own survival and immortality, doing anything to prevent his destruction. He is cunning and uses his intelligence and skills to control and manipulate other demons, keeping them under his control through fear and force. His lack of empathy and contempt for others make him a ruthless and fearsome villain.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the head of the Demon Slayer Corps in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is known for his serene, compassionate and wise personality. Despite his weakened physical condition due to a hereditary curse, he leads the organization with a calm and inspiring presence. Kagaya shows great empathy and respect for her hunters, treating them as members of a large family. He is a strategist and has a clear vision of what is needed to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji and protect humanity. His ability to inspire loyalty and courage in others, even in the face of extreme adversity, highlights his exceptional leadership.

The Twelve Kizuki, also known as the Twelve Demon Moons, are the twelve most powerful demons under the command of Muzan Kibutsuji, the first and strongest demon. They are divided into two groups:

1. Six Upper Moons:

• Upper Moons 1 to 6: They are the most powerful demons among the Kizuki. They have extremely advanced abilities and a large amount of Muzan's blood, which makes them stronger and harder to kill. They are rarely replaced due to their superior strength.

2. Six Lower Moons:

• Lower Moons 1 to 6: Although still very powerful, they are weaker compared to the Upper Moons. These demons are most often replaced or eliminated by Muzan if he feels they do not live up to his expectations.

The Twelve Kizuki possess unique and diverse abilities, reflecting the amount of blood and power Muzan bestowed upon them. They are the main antagonists that demon hunters face, and each encounter with a member of the Kizuki poses a significant challenge due to their overwhelming power and special abilities.

The hierarchy of the Demon Corp, from the series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," is structured into ten levels of classification, which are named according to the Celestial Rods system, an ancient Chinese timekeeping method. These ratings are, from lowest to highest:

2. Mizunoe (壬)
3. Kanoto (辛)
4. Kanoe (庚)
5. Tsuchinoto (己)
6. Tsuchinoe (戊)
7. Hinoto (丁)
8. Hinoe (丙)
9. Kinoto (乙)
10. Kinoe (甲)

Above these ranks is the group of Hashira, who are the most powerful and respected demon hunters within the Demon Corp. To become a Hashira, a hunter must reach Kinoe's level and kill at least 50 demons, or defeat one of the Twelve Demon Moons. The Hashira report directly to Demon Corp leader Kagaya Ubuyashiki and enjoy special privileges
