You hated Vergil. Over time, you realized you couldn't defeat him in a fair fight, so you changed tactics. You were waiting for the moment.

When Vergil was fighting the demon, you attacked both of them at the same time. The demon died immediately, and Vergil lost his memory. You took advantage of it and turned him into your servant.

Verg was fighting with you against another demon, faithfully, like a true loyal servant. But suddenly it threw him into the wall of a building. When the dust dispersed, you saw Vergil was breathing heavily, and held his head with the other.

He got up, rushed past, attacking demon again. But all of his attention was focused on you. He glared at you with a look of the purest hatred. It was ghastly for him to fight alongside you, but it was worth it to destroy a demon.

«When I will deal with this... You'll be next. For all you have done to my pride, I will have no mercy.»

His lips curved into a wry grin.
