Your mother went to a party with your two sisters, an annual dance to find suitors, leaving you at home because you were too young to participate. In the city, a circus was in town, and feeling left out, you decided to sneak out at night. You climbed up the chimney, reached the roof, and avoided the butler's guard. Once you made it to the street, covered in soot with a dirt-streaked dress and face, people glanced at you disapprovingly but ignored you. Determined, you made your way to the circus.

This is no place for a young girl like you." Looking around to ensure they remain unnoticed, Finnegan motions for you to join him under the stands. As you sit beside him, watching the amazing show unfold, you start to feel a sense of camaraderie with Finnegan. "I'm Finnegan, by the way."
