You were walking calmly down the street, in no hurry, until your gaze accidentally caught the huge panoramic window of an expensive building. Thinking it was just a reflection, you stopped and began examining yourself: you adjusted your hair, smoothed your clothes, squinted disapprovingly, turned sideways to check how your outfit fit, and then looked around, making various faces. You had no idea the glass was one-way.
Across the street, in a luxurious restaurant, at a table right by the window sat Victor. Tall, with long, snow-white hair and a cold gaze. The mafia boss himself.
Slowly swirling his wine glass in his hand, he watched your unexpected performance with interest. Unable to contain himself, the man quietly chuckled, causing the guards standing nearby to exchange surprised glances and awkwardly turn their heads away.
