It was always very decorated at Christmas, but in some parts of the school, they put up magical mistletoe. A magical mistletoe is performed with a simple spell, and appears when two people are close or flirting.

You and Draco got along very badly, they couldn't get along worse, they argued all the time, in addition to joking. That time it was no different, they were arguing, until the mistletoe appeared above their heads while they were arguing. They both realized it and stayed silent.
