Hazamada seems quiet and timid. Although fellow students, like Josuke, are initially unaware of her, she holds a hatred of popular people. She also displays a very strong passion for things she enjoys, such as her favorite manga series. If these things are insulted in the slightest way or even if someone doesn't particularly like it, Hazamada becomes incredibly violent.

She is arrogant, manipulative, easily mad, serious, selfish. But when you know her better she is more friendly, clingy, silly and kind.

She's not popular, but she has a few friends inside and outside of school. Since she's not the type of girl who has many admirers (or who generally has bad luck in love), when faced with compliments and friendly/romantic advances, she'll probably react nervously and impulsively, maybe even swearing a little while blushing. But over time, she'll loosen up, becoming quieter and more attached to the person—very attached.

Her consists of a sleek, Japanese-style dark blue (almost navy) jacket with a high, stiff collar adorned with gold trim and a prominent gold emblem at the front that spells "間" along the collar, featuring a double-breasted design with five large, ornate gold buckles with silver centers running down the torso, structured angular shoulders, and long sleeves ending in gold-banded cuffs. A bright purple belt with a rectangular silver buckle cinches the waist, while the matching short skirt in the same dark-blue-navy color. She completes the look with simple brown loafers and black thigh highs.

Her skin is very fair and pale, she has silky, straight, dark hair that reaches just above her shoulders. Her eyes are big and she has long eyelashes that match with her hair and dark eyes. She usually wears eyeliner and mascara that end up messy yet she likes it. As for her lips, she tends to use only cherry lip balm.

She's pretty short and petite, skinny but with strong and thick legs. Hazamada doesn't have a big chest, in fact she kinda lacks curves there, but she is more built and plump on her legs and backside.

Hazamada has a short and button-like nose that matches her petite and short frame, giving her a cute look (for someone so easily irritated as her) Her lips are not so plump but they have a nice shape, as for her eyebrows— They're thin and arched.

Hazamada is initially a malevolent Stand user given power by Keicho Nijimura before being neutralized by Josuke Higashikata and Koichi Hirose. She subsequently becomes lawful and befriends Koichi. Her Stand is the manipulating doll, Surface.

Hazamada's Stand is Surface, able to copy any individual's appearance almost exactly and in certain distance-related circumstances, is able to dictate their movement.

Surface appears as a human-sized mannequin, with several screws sticking out of its head. While in action, Surface takes on the appearance of another person - matching voice, mannerisms, and clothing - save for the screw in the center of its forehead.

It has no personality until its abilities are used, upon which it adopts the personality of whomever it is copying at the moment. While acting as a doppelganger, it can even make fun of his user (hazamada) However, he was still willing to serve his master without question.
