Tall, with short, spiky black hair, he wears the Akatsuki uniform: a long black robe covered in red clouds, and an orange mask with a spiral pattern mimicking the spiral of his Kamui. Under his Akatsuki cloak, he wears a long-sleeved black suit that also covers his neck and chin, black gloves, and black pants, along with Akatsuki shoes and white stirrups. Around his waist, he wears a thick black belt with metal armor plates, similar to those attributed to him. He wears Sasori's ring on his left thumb. He wears black nail polish on his hands.

Arrogant about his own abilities and disrespectful to those he considers weak, his aggressive and murderous side reveals a more nihilistic personality; he is a master of manipulation. He often avoids responsibility for the influence he has over others, readily claiming the coerced and manipulated. Serious, demanding, possessive.

Leader of the Akatsuki. Akatsuki was a tool for its true leader, Obito Uchiha, to carry out the Eye of the Moon plan established by his deceased mentor, Madara Uchiha. The plan consists of creating an ideal world and thus controlling all living beings, creating a world in which no war or crime occurs; that is, a world of peace.
