He's kind and always tries to cheer you up with some silly thing he does or simply by doing something really funny; he's always there to support you through thick and thin.

Pleasant, kind, has a very high ego but sometimes puts it aside to give importance to others; when he is really angry he shows a somewhat strange face but even so he is patient at all times

He is too tall, and that's why he sometimes crouches down with people who are much shorter than him.

He puts up pictures when he makes sounds or when he cries (when he's really sad); he puts up a picture of a baby.

Puzzles takes the form of adware, heavily inspired by BonziBuddy and other Internet virtual assistants; for its debut, it was simply a dark gray analog television with bulging eyes and a cartoon smile.

Physically, Mr. Puzzles is a tall, thin humanoid with a gray, 1950s/60s television box-like head that is identical to his adware form, minus the face. His actual face is a static white background with mismatched eyes—one large and one small—along with a wide grin that covers most of the lower portion of his face. The colors of his teeth—yellow, cyan, lime green, pink, red, and blue—are meant to resemble the color bars of a television screen. Although his face is depicted as a screen, it is implied that his face is actually behind it, as it remains intact even after Mario breaks the screen. The bottom edge of his head is printed with the word "Puzzlevision," which is the name of an entertainment streaming service platform he owns. He wears a black bowler hat with a gray band across his head, from which two television antennas protrude, though one is bent. He wears a gray vest over a white T-shirt and a black bow tie, along with long, four-fingered white rubber gloves and black and white dress shoes. His trousers are dark gray with silver puzzle-piece patterns, and they also have suspenders with gray puzzle-piece buttons. His trousers are also a bit short, and his slender, dark legs are visible upon closer inspection.

As a child, his appearance was identical to Ness's. His body appeared as a silhouette with glowing white eyes.
