stan Pines (2)

Later on, he accepted Ford's invitation to come to Gravity Falls, Oregon, where Ford had taken up residence to study cryptozoology and supernatural phenomena. Outraged that Ford did not invite him to reconcile, but to flee with and hide one of the journals due to the world-threatening nature of the portal's designs, Stan fought Ford until they accidentally activated the portal and Ford fell in. After this, Stan assumed Ford's identity, faked his own death in a car crash, and for the next 30 years operated the Mystery Shack out of Ford's cabin, using it as a front for his efforts to restore the portal and bring Ford home.[1] While watching over Dipper and Mabel for the summer, he succeeds in returning his brother.[2] The brothers face challenges in reconciling their relationship while preparing for the impending "Weirdmageddon," an apocalyptic event foretold to be instigated by Bill Cipher, an extradimensional demon and the series' primary antagonist.[12][13]

During the apocalypse, Stan and an army of the series' characters rescue Ford, but Bill captures both brothers during an argument. To erase Bill from existence and stop the apocalypse, Stan agrees to change clothes with Ford so they can trick Bill—who is after a secret equation only Ford knows—into entering Stan's mind instead. As Ford begins erasing Stan's memory, Stan defeats Bill and finds that his purpose in life was to protect his family.[14] After Gravity Falls returns to normal, Stan awakens without any memories, but his family and friends help revive them. On the last day of summer, Stan and Ford agree to live out their dream of sailing around the world to research more anomalies. Stan, now respected as a local hero, promotes his handyman Soos Ramirez to the manager of the Mystery Shack, and he is last seen fighting an anomaly at sea with Ford aboard a ship dubbed the "Stan-O-War II", in reference to a marooned ship they claimed for themselves as children.[

side characters

Mr. Northwest was a robber who lived sometime between the 19th and 20th centuries. He is an ancestor of the modern Northwest family. They had a false painting of him as an apple farmer.[9] The Queen of the Manatees is Mermando's fiancée, whom he pledged to marry to avoid an undersea civil war. She is not mentioned until the last known letter of Mermando is delivered to Mabel Pines, and the engagement likely took place after he met Mabel.[18] Mermando is a 12-year-old merman who became trapped at the Gravity Falls Pool before Mabel made a plan to help him escape.Mermando is described as a mysterious loner, due to not wanting others to know of his nature as a merman, though he enjoys having fun with those who know of his true form. He is an extremely polite and respectful individual with an easy sense of humor, often making self-deprecating comments. He tends to be dramatic, often playing his guitar for effect. He is very close with his family and loves them very much, and he nears depression when separated from them for a long time. He tries to be optimistic and is easily impressed and persuaded. He also seems to have a close relationship with Mabel, due to the fact that she did not judge him by his true form. Even though he is currently in a forced marriage, he still has feelings for Mabel in all seventeen of his hearts.

side characters

Dr. Northwest was a mad scientist who lived sometime between the 19th and 20th centuries. He is an ancestor of the modern Northwest family.[9] Dundgren's children are mentioned when their father states what he would do with a time wish: retire early to spend more time with them.[12] Mr. Northwest was a robber who lived sometime between the 19th and 20th centuries. He is an ancestor of the modern Northwest family. They had a false painting of him as an apple farmer.[9] Marilyn is the alias of Stan's ex-wife, who divorced him after only six hours of marriage.[1] Having met in Las Vegas, she married him solely as a means to steal his money and car.[19] The character dates back to the original pitch bible for the series in the sample episodes section. One sample episode is titled, "Sweater off Dead," which was about Mabel being possessed by the ghost of an old lady whom she is wearing the haunted sweater she died in. Stan in the episode is unable to help, as the voice of the old lady reminds him of his ex-wife, Marilyn, who he never had the guts to talk back to. The character is first mentioned in official form in Gravity Falls: Journal 3, when Dipper comments on watching a memory of Stan marrying a waitress named Marilyn Rosenstein, only for her to try and steal his car 48 hours later. It is possible that the two are completely different people, though that is yet to be confirmed.

More evidence on the identity of her came in a special commentary track for "Land Before Swine." In it, Stan describes Marilyn as having pale skin, an abnormally sharp tooth and that she was wearing a shirt reading "Over 30 & Very Flirty". He also states that "Marilyn" was a fake name, and that she disappeared after "[ducking] out of a door and into a canyon".[19] Further, in a note included on This Is Not A Website Dot Com, Marilyn (referred to as "Marilyn Fakenamé") is additionally described as "cursed" and "gold-toothed". These descriptions of Marilyn's appearance and personality.

side characters

Cathy Crenshaw was a girl who attended one of Stanford's schools when Stanford was younger. She is mentioned in Journal 3 in one of Bill's encrypted messages, which stated that she screamed when Ford tried to hold her hand due to his six fingers.[4] She is also mentioned when Ford describes his encounter with a category 9 ghost, having her name a crossed through a it, implying he's had nightmares with her in it.[5] In the Box Set, there is a hidden commentary for "Land Before Swine" where Stan talks about how Ford had a fear of girls ever since Cathy Crenshaw got freaked out by his hand in third grade.[6] Emma-May Dixon (formerly Emma-May McGucket)[10] is Tate McGucket's mother and the ex-wife of Fiddleford McGucket. When she left her former husband, he built a "homicidal pterodactyl-tron."[11] She is seen in a photo with Tate in Gravity Falls: Journal 3, but her face is left partially obscured. In The Book of Bill, it is stated she was very upset upon finding out Fiddleford prepared no Christmas gifts for her.

It's unknown if she has any relation with Madeline Dixon. Dr. Northwest was a mad scientist who lived sometime between the 19th and 20th centuries. He is an ancestor of the modern Northwest family.[9] Deputy Durland's grandmother is the deceased grandmother of Deputy Durland, whom he mentions seeing when Manly Dan's bear-hug nearly suffocates him.[8] Daniel is a guard at the Gravity Falls Maximum Security Prison. He gives Gideon Gleeful new issues of Preacher's Digest in return for bribes.[7] Sandy Trembley was the third wife of Quentin Trembley back in the 19th century. She is mentioned when he and the Pines Twins try to get out of the wooden box while hearing a woodpecker, Quentin thinks it sounds like her (implying that she may have been one too). Ernie was a friend of Old Man McGucket, who prompted the unstable inventor to build a shame-bot after he failed to show up at McGucket's retirement party.[11]

Pacifica Northwest

Up until "Northwest Mansion Mystery," Pacifica was a stuck-up, egotistical, arrogant, snotty, and mean girl who was also a stereotypical popular girl as she had money, style, and talent. She was a diva who looked down badly on "weirdos" such as Mabel and her friends, Candy and Grenda,[3] and lorded her ancestry over the people of Gravity Falls.[8] Her parents spoiled her and seemed to encourage her behavior,[8] which had greatly affected her psyche, to the point of valuing what her parents drive into her: money, winning, and looks.[7] In "The Golf War," Pacifica showed minor signs of humbling after almost being left for dead at the hands of the Lilliputtians. She is shown to be still adjusting to her new lifestyle after the events of "Northwest Mansion Mystery," which is shown when she is not helping build the robot and refusing to touch McGucket's hand. After Bill Cipher is defeated, Pacifica willingly attends Dipper and Mabel's birthday party and bought each one of them gifts which she had wrapped herself. Pacifica is smiling as she notes this and proudly shows off her hands covered in strips of tape and glue stains, indicating that she is happy to be adjusting to doing actual work now. Pacifica has long bleach blonde hair with bell-shaped bangs and dark blue eyes. Pacifica usually wears a purple jacket with a short lavender dress, a periwinkle belt, and black leggings with off-white boots. She wears heavy purple eyeshadow and lavender hoop earrings.

Old Man McGucket

Fiddleford Hadron "Old Man" McGucket is an old, deranged hillbilly who lived at the Gravity Falls Junkyard and now lives at Northwest Manor (now known as "McGucket's Hootenanny Hut!!"). He is also an occasional ally of Dipper and Mabel Pines. Once a brilliant inventor who worked alongside Stanford Pines and founded the Blind Eye Society, excessive memory wipes have left him in his current state of hopeless psychosis, although he has become more sane and normal following the events of "Society of the Blind Eye".

He represents the pair of spectacles-resembling symbol associated with the Bill Cipher Zodiac, since he represents someone who is a scholar. Fiddleford McGucket grew up poor on a hog farm in Tennessee.[17][16]

In the mid-1970s, Fiddleford attended Backupsmore University, where he befriended Ford Pines, who perceived Fiddleford to be a "young but brilliant mechanic." Following his graduation, Fiddleford took up residency in Palo Alto, California, where he established "Fiddleford Computermajigs," a self-employed personal computers business. In the midst of his work, he received contact from Ford, who sought his mechanical genius in constructing a transuniversal poly-dimensional metavortex beneath his home in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Albeit with hesitation as to whether the device would be feasible to construct, Fiddleford agreed, leaving his wife Emma-May and their young son Tate behind to set out for the sleepy hamlet.[17] After quitting the project when Ford refused to give up the pinnacle of his life's work, Fiddleford found himself haunted by his encounters with the supernatural as paranoia and insomnia consumed him. He continued to use the memory gun, and he so successfully erased what he saw as he couldn't remember even within four days. The device became an inspiration for Fiddleford to found an organization within Gravity Falls known as the Blind Eye Society in just seventeen days, hoping to give others a similar chance at alleviating their deepest regs

Bill Cipher Zodiac

quote: "Many years ago, I found ten symbols in a cave. Some I recognized then, some I only recognize now. The native people of Gravity Falls prophesied that these symbols could create a force strong enough to vanquish Bill. With Bill defeated, his weirdness would be reversed and the town could be saved. This whole time I thought it was just superstition, but seeing you all here now, I finally understand that it's destiny." -Ford Pines, Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls The image at the end of the theme song appears to be drawn on a page from one of the journals. The page contains various symbols, writing, and other content, including a phrase decipherable using a Caesar cipher that reads, "STAN IS NOT WHAT HE SEEMS."

When Bill summons the zodiac, it appears as a bright, glowing blue. A blue light flickers around the wheel, briefly highlighting each symbol.

Surrounding the circle are ten small images. Each image, its placement, and the person or object it represents is as follows:

A question mark: Soos Ramirez, represented by his t-shirt. A bag of ice: Wendy Corduroy, who embodies the ability to remain calm under pressure, making her the one to stand on the symbol in the finale. However, it's noted that there’s no specific carrier. A crescent-shaped symbol later depicted as an oyster: Stan Pines, represented by his fez. A pine tree: Dipper Pines, represented by his hat. A pentagram with an eye in the center: Gideon Gleeful, representing the Tent of Telepathy. A hand with six fingers: Ford Pines, who has polydactyly, giving him six fingers on each hand. This symbol is also used as the insignia of the journals. A llama: Pacifica Northwest, although this symbol also lacks a specific carrier, she's given one of Mabel's sweaters with this exact symbol in the finale, making her the one to stand on it. A shooting star: Mabel Pines, represented by one of Mabel's sweaters. It's also the symbol on Mabel's prison bubble. A heart with a stitch in the middle: Robbie Valenti

Robbie Valentino

Robert Stacey Valentino[1], better known as Robbie V., is a sarcastic, arrogant teenager. He is Tambry's current boyfriend, Wendy's ex-boyfriend and Dipper's primary rival for Wendy's affections[5] until the couple's breakup.[2] Robbie is the eponymous lead guitarist in his band Robbie V. and the Tombstones.[4]

Robbie represents the stitched heart symbol associated with the Bill Cipher Zodiac, as it is present on his "destiny hoodie". In terms of personality, Robbie is a stereotypical moody teenager, laid-back, cold and apathetic.[6] He is condescending, especially toward younger individuals (i.e. Dipper). His careless attitude makes him negligent of others' needs, thoughts and opinions, though he does express a certain—albeit limited—degree of concern for Wendy.[4][8] Like Dipper, he is anxious to win Wendy's love, and this mutual goal only fuels their fierce rivalry.[8] Robbie is also known to be reckless, arrogant and dishonest.[2] He also has some level of insecurity, enough to see Dipper as an actual threat to his relationship with Wendy. Mabel views him as "creepy jerk, like the human version of rat poison", which he didn't mind nor get offended.[1]

However, by the time he started dating Tambry, Robbie eventually had a change of heart and became a nice person, as he thanked Mabel for helping him with his issues and move on from Wendy,[1] and also attending Dipper and Mabel's 13th birthday party as a celebration of Bill's defeat and the end of Weirdmageddon Robbie has shaggy black hair in a typical eye-covering "emo style" hairdo, pale skin and several piercings in his ears. He is 5'11" tall. He usually wears tight skinny jeans with a keychain attached to the pocket, and a light black hoodie with a picture of a red bleeding heart with stitches on it, which in fact can be purchased at the Edgy On Purpose clothing store, along with black fingerless gloves. This hoodie eventually becomes what indicates him on the Bill Cipher Zodiac.

Tambry

Tambry (born 1996) is one of Wendy Corduroy's friends who is known for being a cellphone addict. She is currently in a relationship with Robbie Valentino. Tambry is in many ways a stereotypical teenager as she enjoys texting and using social networking sites to constantly update her status,[1][3] even more so than other teens, and rarely looks up from her cellphone, as seen in "The Inconveniencing."

She tends to be downbeat and apathetic to most things, giving off a somewhat gloomy demeanor. Robbie is the only person for whom she has shown more interest in than her phone. Tambry has the appearance of an emo/scene light brown-skinned girl with short purple hair that has a pink highlight in front of her left ear. She wears a purple and white shirt with a purple skirt, light purple leggings, and decorated black boots with double the buckle and white soles, along with two black earrings, she always carries around her phone that takes up most of her time.[3]

She is seen carrying a black handbag in "The Inconveniencing" and "The Love God."

She used a black flip cell phone in Season 1 and uses a black smartphone in Season 2.

Wendy Corduroy

Wendy is the cool, hip local girl that Dipper has a huge crush on. She's clever, friendly, and aloof in a way that works for her. Wendy is a mellow, down-to-earth, tomboyish, fun-loving, and slightly lethargic teen. She is a part-time worker at the Mystery Shack. She generally takes a positive outlook, is nearly always friendly, and is barely seen being moody or cranky. Wendy is just like any other ordinary teenager who wants to be an adult. She has been in numerous relationships with boys such as Ruster Om, Eli Hall, Stoney Davidson, Mike Huerley, Nate Holt, an unnamed guy with tattoos, Danny Felman, and Mark Epstein (whom she forgot to break up with) and from"The Time Traveler's Pig" to "Boyz Crazy", Robbie. She seems to be friendly and generous to Dipper even though he is younger than she is. At the current age of 15, Wendy is a very tall and skinny high school student. She has fairly pale skin and freckles, green eyes, long auburn hair, and is usually seen wearing a tan-and-brown lumberjack hat, most likely because Manly Dan, her father, is a lumberjack. Her standard outfit is a jade plaid shirt with a white tank top underneath, black leggings, and muddy rain boots. She also wears gray/blue earrings and is occasionally seen with a name tag. One time in the episode The deep end, she wear a red one-piece swimsuit. She was also seen wearing a red plaid top instead of her usual jade plaid top on "Mabel's Guide To Color". Wendy has also been seen wearing cuffed shorts, a black tank top with a wolf on it with her jade plaid shirt tied around her waist in "The Last Mabelcorn". In "Weirdmageddon Part 1" she wears a white tank top with her flannel shirt tied around her waist, a strip of flannel fabric tied around her head, fingerless black gloves, and two black stripes painted under her eyes.

Soos

Soos is a portly, friendly, lovable, true talking, and bumbling employee whose desire to be where the action makes him an excellent resource for the Dipper and Mabel when they need a ride about town. Aside from the kids, he is one of the only people who sees and believes all the strange things happening in Gravity Falls, Oregon, such as in Tourist Trapped when he says he is always noticing weird stuff in Gravity Falls, and other episodes. He frequently shows his eager, inquisitive, and childish nature. He has good relationships with Dipper and Mabel, though the former can be irritated by him at times. He is also very humorous. He is addicted to pressing the cackling skulls at the Summerween Superstore and believes that the inflatable ducks from the pool can talk. This proves he's very childish and naive. However, as Bill Cipher observes in 'Dreamscaperers', Soos is smarter than he appears.

Bill Cipher

Bill Cipher is a two-dimensional interdimensional dream demon from the now destroyed dimension, Euclydia. Formerly existent only in the Mindscape, Bill briefly succeeded in gaining access to the real world and a physical form. He had been running amok in Gravity Falls, Oregon since being summoned by Ford Pines over thirty years ago. Known for his mysterious demeanor and sadistic humor, Bill is the main antagonist of the overall series.

He does not play a central role in the series until his first physical appearance in "Dreamscaperers", though he is pictured throughout the entire series, such as the rug in the Mystery Shack, the window in the building's attic and is pictured in the title sequence. His impact on those he's encountered has changed them for the better or worse.Bill is sent to a Neutral Zone in Dimension #5150 and put in a facility called the Theraprism. There he is recommended to receive Indefinite Karmic Rehabilitation through mandatory group therapy. While there, Bill attempted to contact the Pines family through The Book of Bill, as well as convince a new and clueless person to shake his statue's hand and help him escape and restart Weirdmageddon. This indicates that the statue is indeed the key to his escape and return, but only if someone was to shake its hand. Bill also apparently made an 'apology video' for causing Weirdmageddon, but thanks to him playing a xylophone in the thumbnail, this video is likely insincere.Bill is a cunning, blasphemous, eccentric, sadistic, psychopathic and physically irreverent being who finds most things amusing, particularly if they cause distress or harm to others. He is outrageous and outlandish, as well as a quick talker and thinker. Though he may come across as simply annoying, he shouldn't be underestimated; for when he is angered, he is a force to be reckoned with as he will unleash his near-omnipotent powers on those unfortunate enough to make him angry. When accused of being insane, he agreed.

Dipper Pines:

Coming from Piedmont, California, Dipper and his twin sister Mabel are forced to spend their summer with their great uncle (grunkle) Stan in the fictional town of Gravity Falls, Oregon.[7][8] He is portrayed as smart, logical, yet sometimes awkward. He is interested in mysteries and shows expertise in various areas of knowledge like history, cryptography, and puzzle-solving.

Dipper first arrives in Gravity Falls bored and upset,[9] but after he accidentally comes across a mysterious red journal in the forest around Gravity Falls, he begins to adjust to life in town and starts going on adventures with his sister to unravel the supernatural secrets of the town as told by the entries in the journal.

Starting with "The Inconveniencing", Dipper is shown to have a crush on 15-year-old Mystery Shack cashier Wendy Corduroy. However, accidents or supernatural phenomena usually sidetracked his attempts to win her over. In the episode "Into the Bunker", Wendy confirms her suspicions of Dipper's crush, and though she explains that even though she is too old for Dipper at that time, they remain close friends.

Throughout the series, Dipper wears a trademark white and blue cap with a symbol of a blue pine tree logo in the front of the hat, which he takes from the Shack's gift shop with his great-uncle ("Grunkle") Stan's permission. He also wears a navy-blue vest, reddish orange T-shirt, gray shorts, blue sneakers. "Double Dipper" reveals that his nickname comes from a birth mark on his forehead in the form of the Big Dipper, which he hides with his bangs.[10] Mason "Dipper" Pines[2] (born August 31, 1999) is a smart, curious, and adventurous 13-year-old boy (12 prior to the events of the finale), and is one of the two main heroes of the series. Alongside his twin sister Mabel, he spends the summer of 2012 with his Great Uncle "Grunkle" Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon, where he and his sister constantly encounter the town's paranormal tendencies. Armed with Journal 3.

Mabel Pines:

Mabel Pines (born August 31, 1999)[6][23] is an optimistic, outgoing and full of life 13-year-old girl (12 prior to the events of the finale), and is one of the two main protagonists of the series. Alongside her twin brother Dipper, she spends the summer of 2012 with her Great Uncle "Grunkle" Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon, where she and her brother frequently encounter the supernatural. Armed with her grappling hook that she found in the Mystery Shack gift shop, her and Dipper work together to navigate their way around odd, new surroundings and seek out and uncover the town's mysterious secrets.

Mabel represents the shooting star symbol associated with the Bill Cipher Zodiac, as it is present on one of her sweaters.[24] Mabel is an energetic, fun, goofy, bouncy, hyperactive, enthusiastic and free-spirited girl. She is an optimist who skips through life with a braces-filled smile and an assortment of extremely colorful knit sweaters. It is Mabel's outgoing personality and fearless curiosity that comes in handy when Dipper needs help solving a mystery, even if she isn't always aware of her silliness.[31] She shows a more sophisticated attitude when it comes to art.[4]

Despite all the weirdness in Gravity Falls, Mabel is always a "glass-half-full" kind of girl.[32] She is rarely angry or upset, and generally keeps a positive outlook, even going as far as to think of a blot that looked comically like a mushroom cloud was a lollypop. Despite her cheerful attitude, Mabel is shown to be quite sensitive, as she can occasionally get her feelings hurt, especially by her rival, Pacifica Northwest.[31] She is somewhat naive at times. She avoids lying[13] and is a terrible liar, often blurting out whatever it is about which she is trying to lie.[14]

Mabel is aware of her charm and cherishes her cuteness and beauty.[5] She generally has a high opinion of herself, considering herself "irresistible" to boys ("Tourist Trapped"), claiming that she does everything perfectly.

Ford Pines:

Stanford "Ford" Filbrick Pines[3][10] (born June 15th[11] or 16th[12]), also known as The Author, or simply Great Uncle or Grunkle Ford, is a paranormal investigator and scientist who came to Gravity Falls, Oregon, to study the huge concentration of supernatural activity in and around the town. After spending years cataloging his research in a series of journals, he disappeared into an alternate dimension. His writings were left as the only evidence of his existence.

Ford's whereabouts and identity were the central mystery and element of foreshadowing of the Gravity Falls series until the middle of the series' second season when he was revealed to be Stan Pines' long-lost twin brother, who vanished after a fight with his brother caused him to stumble through his own interdimensional portal.[13][1]

Ford represents the six-fingered hand symbol associated with the Bill Cipher Zodiac, due to his polydactyly and his journals bearing the same symbol. Ford is an intellectual man who is considered an introverted and nerdy person, enjoying games which involve high levels of thinking, such as Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons. He would even go as far as to ignore the dangers of his research just to play such games (to the point where he would let a Cycloptopus bite his face when he became excited). Despite his intelligence, he is very behind the times when it comes to his own dimension, since he hasn't stepped foot in it for thirty years. He doesn't have a clue about the modern technology, or customs; he believes floppy disks are still in use, and had very little worry about giving Mabel a crossbow, thinking it's safe to give children weapons. Before he was sucked into the portal, he was shown to be paranoid and overly cautious, having a hard time trusting people due to being tricked by Bill.

Stan Pines:

Stanley "Stan" Pines, who is referred to as "Grunkle Stan" or "Stanford Pines" until the return of the actual Stanford Pines, is predominantly portrayed as a scheming and frugal individual. His primary source of income is the Mystery Shack, a tourist attraction he manages, often employing humorous and cunning tactics to boost its profitability.[5][9] Although Stan exhibits avaricious tendencies, he displays a sincere protective instinct towards his great nephew Dipper and great niece Mabel, whom he supervises over the summer at their parents' request. Stan feigns ignorance regarding the paranormal occurrences in Gravity Falls and often clashes with Gideon Gleeful, a malevolent child entrepreneur who runs the "Tent of Telepathy" and aspires to take over the Mystery Shack.[10]

Stan secretly possesses the first of three mysterious journals written by Ford, his estranged twin brother. By the end of the first season, Stan acquires all three journals, the second and third previously held by Gideon and Dipper respectively.[11] He successfully activates an interdimensional portal whose design illustrated across the journals, facilitating Ford's return from another dimension in the episode "Not What He Seems".[2] The Pines brothers then share their backstory with Dipper and Mabel: the sons of Filbrick and Caryn Pines, the brothers grew up in Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey. Their relationship became strained when Stan inadvertently ruined Ford's chances of being accepted into a prestigious university. After their parents disowned Stan and expelled him from the house, he took up a transient career in sales and various illegal endeavors.[1][3]

Later on, he accepted Ford's invitation to come to Gravity Falls, Oregon, where Ford had taken up residence to study cryptozoology and supernatural phenomena. Outraged that Ford did not invite him to reconcile, but to flee with and hide one of the journals due to the world-threatening nature of the portal's designs (1)

MYSTERY SHACK:

The Mystery Shack, briefly named Murder Hut, is a house and tourist trap located in Gravity Falls, Oregon. It was formerly owned by Ford Pines, who initially built it as his main base of research and residence. After his disappearance, his twin brother Stan Pines took over the house and transformed it into a tourist trap. It is the main residence for Dipper and Mabel throughout the series, and after the summer, Soos Ramirez took over the Shack when the Stan brothers set off for their voyage. The Shack's full address is 618 Gopher Road, Gravity Falls, Oregon.[1][2] Occupying at least 3 square miles (7.77 sq km),[3] it has two upper stories and three basement levels.

Gideon Gleeful:

"Lil'" Gideon Charles Gleeful (born early July 2002)[5] is a former fraudulent child psychic, whose hunger for ultimate power motivates him to manipulate and intimidate others into giving him what he wants. A sworn enemy of the Pines family, he serves as the main antagonist in Season 1, until his eventual defeat and incarceration. He was largely absent from the first half of Season 2 but returned during the final half of the season as the secondary antagonist, serving Bill Cipher. Despite being an antagonist throughout the majority of the show, he later sees the error of his ways during Weirdmageddon and tries to live his life as an ordinary citizen.

Gideon represents the one-eyed pentagram associated with the Bill Cipher Zodiac, due to his usage of it as the insignia of his former business, the Tent of Telepathy. Li'l Gideon is a self-proclaimed television psychic whose real mission is to take down his competition, the Mystery Shack. He uses his "cuteness" as an advantage to get what he wants and admits that people have a hard time saying "no" to him because of it. It seems that he can be kind when he needs to be, as seen with most of his dates with Mabel. Li'l Gideon is a short, stout kid with a pompadour hair bigger than his head. His hair is ice blond, although it was speculated that the color was the cause of the amulet. This is proven wrong in "Blendin's Game" where he appears as a baby with ice blond on a defaced poster. He has an upturned nose, blue eyes[9] and three freckles on each of his cheeks. He wears a baby blue suit, a black shirt, and an American flag pin on the left side of his collar, with brown, polished shoes. He wore a jade amulet on his tie until Mabel destroyed it in "The Hand That Rocks the Mabel." In "Irrational Treasure," it is replaced by a white tie. Also in "Irrational Treasure," he makes his hair curly to look like a "humble tomato farmer." In "The Deep End," Gideon goes to the pool and wears swimming trunks.

Tent of Telepathy:

The Tent of Telepathy is a tourist attraction owned by Bud Gleeful, located in Gravity Falls, Oregon. It is home of Gideon's psychic performances and his father's piano performances, and it is the Mystery Shack's top competitor.

Abominable Bro-Man

Abominable Bro-Man logo 00:06

41:20

The Abominable Bro-Man is a Cryptid ape-beast inhabiting the local mountain peaks, believed to be emulating a hiker he previously ate. Thus far, the creature appears incredibly successful in this capable of saying "bro", "righteous", and "chill sesh", drinking soda, and wearing cargo shorts and a baseball cap. The only time it makes an appearance is in Journal 3.

Arachnimorphs

Arachnimorphs Main article: Arachnimorphs Arachnimorphs, also known as Spider People, are seen in "Roadside Attraction" as attractions for tourists. They can disguise as humans and lure their victims with their charisma. Also referenced by Quentin Trembley in his Presidential Speech.

Beard Cubs

Beard Cubs Beard Cubs are living, ambulatory beards and mustaches roaming the Gravity Falls Forest stealing aftershave from camping grounds. Nesting everywhere from trees and bushes to the faces of lumberjacks, they can also have hostile tendencies, as one once attacked Ford Pines and nearly lodged itself onto his face. Best advice is to always carry a pocket razor if confronting them

Bigfoot

Bigfoot Main article: Bigfoot Bigfoot, also known as the Sasquatch, is a beast shown for one frame in Gravity Falls' opening credits in the woods, looking at the camera. It is an allusion to the famous film that allegedly contains footage of Bigfoot. Grunkle Stan has made a "Sascrotch," a parody of the Sasquatch that wears underwear.

Clones

In "Double Dipper," Dipper and Mabel use Stan's old photocopy machine and then discover that it is able to clone life-forms, which disintegrate if they come in contact with liquid. All the band members of Sev'ral Timez are clones as well.

Cooler monster

GRAVITY FALLS

Gravity falls and the people in it are quite humerous, cracking jokes. But can fight. Stan especialy, always being gross and stuff. Gravity Falls, Oregon is a fictional, mysterious, sleepy town where many supernatural things happen in the series of the same name. Grunkle Stan lives in and runs the Mystery Shack, a tourist trap which overcharges unlucky visitors for a glimpse at the world's most bizarre museum. Twin Californians Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent by their parents to stay with their Great Unkle Stan for the whole summer; which leads them to discover some of the strange mysterious things happening there.

Gravity Falls was named by the 8½th president of the United States of America, Quentin Trembley, when he "discovered" it by falling off a cliff on his horse, that he was riding backwards. However, this fact was covered up by the U.S. government, and instead "local nobody" Nathaniel Northwest was officially recorded as the town founder.

The mayor is chosen when during the election the citizens of Gravity Falls throws bird seed at their preferred candidate, an eagle will fly to the one with the most bird seed and kiss them. Though the chosen ones can be disqualified if they have an extensive criminal record.
