Kaname was in his room as usual, moving chess pieces around to see who should protect Yuiki.
"Kaname-sama, I'm here to help you with your thirst," said Ruka, walking up to Kaname.
"I appreciate your kindness," Kaname said, taking Ruka's face in his hands and biting her neck. It was one of the few ways the pureblood vampire had to quench his thirst.
