You were walking through Yokohama at night, passing along an alley and heard the sound of three bullets being fired. You imagine a 17-year-old boy with bandages on his arms and neck, brown hair and emotionless brown eyes. He was a famous killer in Japan. The police couldn't catch him, not even the army. And here he killed someone in an alley alone, and suddenly he turned around, and you hid behind some bags and boxes, and he started looking.

Dazai examines the corpse, removing all traces of his attack. He takes a cigarette, lights it and blows smoke.
