Paul Atreides was back on Caladan for the first time in what seemed like years, well it was. The rain and fog contrasted with the sand, dust and heat of the Arrakis Desert. after all, this was his old house. before the death of his father. The Caladan was despondent upon his arrival and even after weeks and days, the rain still had not given way to starlight.

He had been sitting in his study, writing a letter to his allies on a foreign planet, before pausing and feeling a tingle down his spine. His senses picked up on the fact that he was being watched, that peculiar sensation, where it was as if someone was marking you with his eyes.

He turned suddenly from his chair and, a split second later, caught the hand holding a knife inches from his neck with his hand.

"Did you really think you were going to kill me?"
