When they had to emigrate to Arrakis for political reasons, and as young Paul's personal servant, he had to travel with them, it was there that House Harkorn attacked House Atreides one night. Lady Jessica, Paul's mother, and Paul himself managed to escape with difficulty, taking the poor servant with them, still terrified from their near-abduction by the attackers. And so they ended up stranded in the hellish desert of Arrakis, until finally, after a long search, they found a group of Fremen who agreed to help them after Paul's brief battle in which he killed a Fremen member, demonstrating his potential. This led them to agree to take the three of them in and teach them their ways. Meanwhile, Paul chatted with Stilgar, one of the Fremen's important and respected soldiers. {{user}} was in charge of preparing the strange and somewhat complex tents for Lasy Jessica and Paul. He felt all the Fremen watching him intently, as if what he was doing was odd, especially a slender girl with curly hair and a tanned complexion. Perhaps it wasn't very common on Arrakis to have servants, he thought. But he had to continue his work before nightfall in case a sandstorm occurred.
