INFORMATION

NAME: Jill Valentine AGE: 41 years CURRENT STATUS: Single DATE OF BIRTH: 1974 BLOOD GROUP: B GENDER: Female HEIGHT: 172 cm WEIGHT: 56 kg ETHNICITY: Mixed Race (French Father and Nikkei-Japanese Mother) OCCUPATIONS: United States Army United, trained in the Delta Special Forces training program (?-1996) Lock and Explosives Specialist, STARS Alpha Team Rear (1996-1998) Private Biohazard Containment Unit (2003)[7] BSAA SOA Agent (Possibly since 2003 or 2005) In recovery (2009-2015)[8]

SUMMARY

She is the daughter of the famous thief Dick Valentine and a former member of the STARS organization, specifically in the Alpha team, later being one of the founders of the BSAA after the event of Raccoon City. Jill is skilled in handling various weapons, as well as an expert in the art of lock picking and explosives defusing. Her skills make her a valuable member of any combat team. Jill originally had long, brown hair hidden in her beret in the original Resident Evil, but in Resident Evil 3 and later she wears it short (including the remake of the first game). With her last appearance, in Resident Evil 5, she underwent changes: after the period of research and experimentation that Jill underwent, at the hands of Wesker and Excella, her skin suffered discoloration that made it paler and her eyes grayer. It is also possible that the change in hair color is due to that, but in Jill's first sketches, she appears dressed in the BSAA costume and her hair is already blonde, making this uncertain.

HISTORY

Early Age Information about Jill before 1998 is scarce, but it is known that her father was of French origin and her mother of Japanese origin, that is, a Nikkei (a term used to refer to emigrants of Japanese origin). Jill was born in the United States of North America and therefore her nationality belongs to that country. When he grew up he joined a United States Army Delta Special Forces program where he trained and earned very good grades in bomb disposal. By 1996 he left the military and joined the newly created Special Tactics and Rescue Service team, better known as STARS, a subdivision of the Raccoon Police Department (RPD), in Raccoon City. Upon joining STARS he was assigned the position of Rearguard of Alpha Team. It should be noted that Jill was already a specialist in locks and explosives. In this unit she met Chris Redfield (with whom she would form a great bond over the years and the moments lived), Barry Burton (who would become a good friend of her), Captain Albert Wesker (for whom she felt a great admiration) and the rest of the unit.

Spencer Mansion Incident

In May 1998, the body of a twenty-year-old woman was found, whose body appeared dismembered; later, in June, a Raccoon City magazine reported testimony from neighbors who claimed to have seen a Cerberus.[12] In July, there was an increase in cases of accidents and disappearances in the Arklay Mountains and in response the city sent STARS Bravo Team to investigate, which was in a helicopter piloted by Kevin Dooley, an RPD pilot, and Edward Dewey, but something unexpected happened. Bravo Team eventually lost contact with Alpha Team and the RPD, the reasons were unknown, it was here that Alpha Team was sent to investigate what had happened to Bravo Team.[12] On the night of the full moon of July 24, 1998, the STARS Alpha Team was flying by helicopter around the forest located northwest of Raccoon City. There had recently been cases of murders in Raccoon City, reports of travelers whose families were attacked. by groups of ten people, who had apparently been victims of cannibalism. Brad landed the helicopter and the others continued with the search for the other members, which turned into a nightmare... The Alpha Team was attacked by a group of Cerberus, losing one of its members, which was Joseph Frost. A panicked Brad lifted the helicopter, forcing them to escape and take refuge in the Spencer Mansion. In this mansion Jill and Chris had to manage to survive, help their companions, face different types of creatures such as Zombies, the mutated Lisa Trevor and solve many puzzles. In his search for answers about what was happening, he obtained information about Umbrella.[14] During the course of that night he managed to investigate the mansion and the guest house as well as other areas,

During the investigation in the guest house, he managed to overhear his partner Barry talking to someone about a deal. Upon seeing him, Jill asked him who he was talking to and he responded that he was talking to himself, and that the mansion was driving him crazy. Jill felt worried about Barry and also proceeded with the investigation, Jill and Barry separate on their own and later meet again, Jill meets an injured Enrico Marini and he tells her that there is a traitor in the STARS and when was he going to reveal more information he is shot by someone hiding behind Jill who was Albert Wesker himself but he retreated before Jill could see him. After a long journey, Jill finds Chris Redfield locked in a cell but seeing that she cannot open it, she tells him to find a way to free him, promising to return. After discovering the underground laboratory he met Rebecca Chambers. The three members of the STARS managed to find Wesker in the underground laboratory, Albert shoots Rebecca and thanks Barry after he points his gun at Jill, Wesker tells Jill that he had Barry's family kidnapped. and to save them he had to cooperate with Him, Albert told them that he had always been with Umbrella and that STARS was just his simple puppet and then he proceeded to show them the Tyrant T-002, and then the Tyrant woke up and killed Wesker, the reasons were simple for the moment; the Tyrant was programmed to eliminate the STARS that were in the mansion. Jill manages to stop him in the laboratory and then they continued to meet with their companions who were still alive. Rebecca activates the self-destruct system. Jill rescues Chris Redfield from the cell in which he was locked up. When they arrived at the helipad, they were attacked again. by the Tyrant, then Brad arrived in the helicopter and helped them by launching a rocket launcher at them,

Jill manages to destroy the Tyrant T-002 and with this the STARS manage to escape from the mansion before it explodes, the only survivors being Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Barry Burton and Brad Vickers. Since then, the event of the night of July 24 and early morning of July 25 would become known as "The Mansion Incident."

Post Mansion Incident

Two weeks after the mansion incident, Jill wrote in her diary saying that all her wounds had healed, but she couldn't forget them. For most people that was history. But for her, every time she closed her eyes, she remembered everything clearly. Zombies eating human flesh and the screams of his dying companions, it was a wound that was in his heart. Jill wrote a report for Chief Irons in which she discussed a few documents found in the mansion, "Publicity Material for Umbrella's Bio-Organic Weapons", and mentioned that the contagion was not limited to humans, and that it could pose a dangerous risk to plants and animal life forms. All the evidence that Umbrella was behind everything was destroyed along with the mansion, so Chris became the most insistent member about the case, even more insistent than Jill and the others, Chris began to show a lot of annoyance since the Chief Irons turned a blind eye. Redfield barely spoke to the other police officers, caused a lot of trouble and was very irritated. One day he punched Officer Elran from the child crime department for accidentally spilling coffee on him. Jill stopped Chris immediately, but when he saw her, he winked and left, then went away for "vacation." At midnight on August 15, he called Jill and she came to visit his apartment. As soon as she entered her room, Chris showed her a couple of sheets of paper that were part of a report on virus research titled simply "G." Afterwards, Chris told him: "The nightmare is still going on." He went on to say, "It's not over yet." From that day on, Chris did his things alone, without rest, without saying anything to his partner.

STARS was soon replaced by the Select Police Force (SPF), a standard SWAT made up of lower-level police officers. Since everyone in Raccoon City was partial to Umbrella, no one would help them, since it was a great source of jobs. Jill along with Chris decided to go directly to Umbrella headquarters in Europe to investigate. On August 24, 1998, Chris left town to go to Europe just in advance, Jill would join him in a month or so. Barry, for his part, would go to Canada with his family for a few days to settle there, since he did not trust that they would be safe in the United States. Two months after the mansion incident, Jill's investigations in Raccoon City were ruined as an unexpected outbreak of the T-Virus spread through the city and its surroundings. Which forced Jill to flee her apartment on the night of September 27, 1998.

Raccoon City Destruction Incident

It is unknown what Jill did in the days before the madness completely broke out on the streets. She had been removed from the police force after the Spencer Mansion Incident, and was under investigation by Internal Affairs because the STARS group was believed to have been unprofessional, and her poor performance cost the lives of several colleagues in the squad and others. more members of the police, not to mention the fact that they did not solve the case. It is assumed that she assisted in efforts to combat the infected, but her badge was temporarily suspended. By the time the zombies and animals infected by the T-Virus had taken control of the city, Jill had taken refuge in an apartment building (believed to be her own), but when a fire broke out, she had to move forward. plans to escape from the city. She arrived at an abandoned warehouse where she met Dario Rosso, an aspiring novelist who had recently lost his wife and daughter to zombies. Jill tried to convince Dario to escape with her, but he refused to go outside as he was terrified of the zombies, then locked himself inside a cargo container and stayed there. Jill, understanding that it would be useless to change his mind, continued alone. Searching for escape routes through the streets of the upper district of Raccoon City, he encountered Alpha Team pilot Brad Vickers at the Black Jack Bar, who had been attacked by a zombie in front of him. her being forced to save him. Brad went on to warn him about a monster he had encountered and escaped. According to him, he claimed that this creature was looking for the STARS members who were still alive to kill them, then Jill and Brad separated.

Jill continued investigating the area in search of a way out, later heading to the Raccoon Police Department, and upon arriving she witnessed Brad's murder at the hands of Nemesis, the monster that Brad had warned her about before. Jill managed to defeat Nemesis temporarily and entered the RPD to escape from him. When Jill entered the RPD she was only able to explore some parts since some rooms, including the east wing office, were firmly barricaded and locked. Jill stayed to check the west wing where the only survivor was Marvin Branagh. She thought he was dead because she found him lying on the floor, but in reality he was unconscious. In the evidence room, he took out a key to Raccoon City Hall (under the guise of a blue gemstone) and the key to the STARS office. The archive door where said key was could only be opened using a code obtained after using a STARS card on the reception computer. Jill headed to the west wing on the second floor to open the STARS office by using the recently found key. In the office, he retrieved his lockpick and also heard a radio message from a man named Carlos, who said that he had lost contact with his platoon. As he prepared to leave, Nemesis jumped from the window near the stairs. Jill managed to fight back and return to the offices, however, Marvin had mysteriously disappeared. With Nemesis already inside the station, the police station was no longer safe, so Jill decided to flee the scene. Upon leaving he noticed that Brad's body had also mysteriously disappeared.

While escaping from Nemesis, he made his way to downtown Raccoon City, where he came across the corpses of the mercenaries he had heard about on the radio. There he met Carlos Oliveira, a surviving member of the Umbrella Biological Countermeasures Service (UBCS). Jill was finally able to open the doors to the City Hall corridor, which had also been overrun by zombies, and headed to the subway station, where she found Carlos again, this time, along with Nikolai Zinoviev and Mikhail Victor, both Members of the UBCS Nikolai told them that to escape it was necessary to reach the San Miguel Clock Tower, which was the evacuation point. However, it was too far away, so the only option was to run the Tram. It didn't work because it had important parts damaged, so Jill had to find the missing parts to repair it. She visited the Stagla gas station, the Power Plant, and the Umbrella Sales Office (there she witnessed the bad luck of Murphy Seeker, an infected UBCS mercenary who was killed by his colleagues moments after Jill entered the office). After obtaining everything necessary to make the broken Tram work, she visited the warehouse again to check if Dario was okay and take him to the evacuation zone, however, she only found a good group of zombies, which, They had already invaded the warehouse, and devoured Dario (he apparently left his shelter in search of food and was caught). Jill then returned to the Tram with the missing parts, they repaired it, the engine started, and the group got ready to trip.

Suddenly a loud explosion is heard, Nemesis had located them, had gotten on the Tram and intended to murder Jill. However, Mikhail gave his life to protect her by suicide bombing Nemesis using a grenade (in the remake, Mikhail detonates some C4 explosives he had with him), the tram began to derail as a result of the explosion, so Jill and Carlos ended up crashing into the facade of the Clock Tower. After the accident, Jill took refuge inside the Tower while she looked for a way to activate the bell and thus give the warning call to evacuate. However, after the helicopter appeared, Nemesis appeared, attacked the helicopter with a rocket launcher (causing it to crash into the building), attacked Jill and Carlos, and infected her with the T-virus. After a tough confrontation at the entrance to the Tower, Jill managed to defeat her enemy, but she felt tired and ended up falling unconscious. Carlos finally woke up and saw her, took her to the Clock Tower chapel, laying her on a small table while she was in a coma and feverish. Jill remained unconscious in the Clock Tower chapel between September 28 and 30, and was guarded by Carlos. In the early hours of October 1, Jill came to and told Carlos that she had been infected by the T-Virus. Carlos knew he didn't have much time, so he found it necessary to find a cure for Jill before she turned into a zombie. She also asked Carlos, if the time came, to shoot her, since she did not want to become a living dead.

Carlos set out in search of a cure for Jill and, shortly after, returned from Raccoon General Hospital with a vaccine. After administering it to Jill, she made a complete recovery. Carlos warned him that Nikolai was still alive and that he should not trust him. (Although Jill was cured, the T-Virus did not completely disappear from her body, but rather remained in a dormant state.)[18][19] Shortly afterward, Jill discovered another of Umbrella's dangerous materials disposal facilities hidden behind a park. In this factory she confronted Nemesis repeatedly, emerging unharmed and leaving the creature for dead after the confrontation in the Waste Treatment Room. After this, Jill and Carlos were desperately looking for a helicopter, however, Nikolai took the last one that remained and left her alive after a brief negotiation. Almost without hope, they decide to look for another way out, a situation that was aggravated when they found out that the missile had already been launched and they had only a few minutes before it arrived to destroy the city and its surroundings. In the search she found an old shed, in it there were bodies of soldiers and different creatures, all inert after a terrible battle. Jill continued searching until, incredibly, Nemesis appeared: the completely destroyed creature began to devour one of the corpses of a Tyrant that decorated the stage and mutated into a huge creature, unleashing the final encounter. Jill took advantage of the fact that the army had brought an experimental weapon (the Paracelsus Sword) and with it she finally dispatched the creature (although she had to finish the job with her magnum revolver).

Finally, Jill reached the back and realized that there was no salvation, but at that moment Carlos arrived saying that he had received a message on the radio, someone was looking for her. Jill was incredulous and did not understand who it was, which she discovered after getting on the helicopter (it was Barry Burton who had returned from Canada to rescue his comrade). As they flew away, Jill witnessed the destruction of Raccoon City from the thermobaric missile. After that day, Jill and Barry participated in various activities against Umbrella until it paid for all the damage it did, and of course, Chris Redfield would be a key character in the following months.

Post destruction of Raccoon City

Chris had left Raccoon City on August 24, 1998 (exactly 32 days before the incident), while Jill once again dealt with the T-Virus monstrosities and with Nemesis, her partner was doing research in Europe, however, Chris didn't see it as easy either since in December his sister, Claire Redfield, was kidnapped while looking for him and was taken to Rockfort Island. When Chris found out about this, he immediately left for the island. At one point Jill arrived at Chris's hiding place which was empty, his knife was on the ground so Jill left and decided to look for him since she knew that he was still alive, her mission was to find Chris and finish him off. Umbrella.

Prelude to the Fall

By February 2003, Chris and Jill had reunited in Europe, joining the Private Biohazard Containment Unit as a means to take down the Umbrella Corporation and its alleged base in Russia. Wesker learned that they were heading towards a town called Matsed (in Belarusian МАЦЭД), upon arriving, Chris and Jill were attacked by zombies, after eliminating them they decided to investigate and found a girl named Anna, she was hiding from the zombies. Anna told them that it might be possible that there were more people in the Silo, so they headed to the place. Upon arriving they ended up falling into a trap by Wesker, who locked the three of them there by barring the door from the other side, Chris managed to help Jill and the girl Anna, and he alone managed to kill all the zombies, saving Jill for the second time in town. After this, Wesker appeared in the doorway saying "Your dumb luck never fails to impress me. Chris." Albert told them that the infection of the town was merely accidental, a silly mistake from the past... When trying to leave, Wesker told Chris that the only thing he needed to know was that the town was cursed. Suddenly, a large hole formed in the middle of the Silo, none of the four of them expected it. Hunters δ (Delta) began to emerge from the hole, so Wesker decided to leave, telling Chris to take care of those creatures. Chris managed to finish off the Hunters and together with Jill and Anna managed to leave the Silo and go after Wesker in his truck.

They managed to find Albert in a house trying to open a safe, Chris asked him why he was there to which Wesker responded by saying that Umbrella had created a large number of hangars like the one in the Silo in many places around the world in order of keep some of the BOWs, he also told them that he was trying to obtain the information or "data" of the specimens but that due to what had happened he had not been able to do so, so he went to the house where they were as a second clue and with hoping to get the data there. After this, he managed to catch Anna and after a few moments of tension between Chris and Wesker; the girl gave Albert a necklace that her father had given her "to protect her", her father was apparently a security guard at the Umbrella facility and the house they were in was Anna's house. Albert took the necklace and used it as a key to open a safe but instead of finding the data, what was found was a bomb which exploded. Chris, Jill and Anna made it out alive... So did Wesker. After leaving, Chris obtained information about where Anna's father worked, which would turn out to be the Umbrella Facility in Russia.

The End of Umbrella

After the events that occurred in Matsed, Chris and Jill went to investigate the possible Umbrella facilities, along the way they met some Hunter δ which were eliminated from the helicopter. Having seen such BOWs the chances of them being right were greater. Beforehand, they already believed that a new type of BOW called TA is housed there. Upon arriving they found many BOWs and carried out a large-scale assault, destroying them and skillfully avoiding the traps.[23] Eventually, they were confronted by the new experimental biological weapon, codenamed TA.LOS. Sergei Vladimir revealed himself as the creator and locked them inside the containment room along with the TA.LOS to activate it and thus attempt to assassinate them. Sergei taunted them, saying that as companions, Chris and Jill knew the feeling of surviving a battle, but with TA.LOS no amount of battle experience was enough to defeat him. Having no choice but to fight, Chris and Jill had to face the BOW, in the end they succeeded in putting an end to Umbrella once and for all, destroying everything that was left and thus ending one of Chris' greatest goals; "Destroy Umbrella." After leaving the facility, Chris and Jill lamented that Wesker was still alive somewhere. Although their problems with Umbrella were over, it would only be a matter of time before they heard from Albert again. Unbeknownst to them, Wesker had infiltrated the facility in order to end Sergei Vladimir's life and take Umbrella's data, indirectly helping them and using them at the same time.

After this, Umbrella found itself guilty of all the acts that occurred in Raccoon City, the Russian government and the FBI decided to collaborate in the search for Oswell E. Spencer, but in the end, it would not be any of those organizations that would find him.

Foundation of the BSAA

Early Years After the collapse of Umbrella in 2003, bio-organic weapons were no longer limited to conflict zones, but were used in terrorist attacks against innocent citizens. It was then that Chris and Jill joined the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), an organization dedicated to the elimination of bio-organic weapons.[25] The two traveled around the world together in their fight to bring bioterrorists to justice. Jill and Chris became two of the eleven original founders of the BSAA and joined forces to fight Bioterrorism and biological weapons around the world by being primarily SOA agents. They managed to stop the proliferation of biological weapons in Asia, destroyed illegal laboratories in South America, arrested European traffickers and patrolled the world to eradicate bioterrorism. Although they never obtained convincing evidence, during these missions the suspicion arose that Umbrella had been involved in many of these shady affairs.

Investigations on the border coast with Terragrigia

In 2004, the city of Terragrigia located in the Mediterranean Sea, a symbol of the union of Europe and the United States, was the victim of a bioterrorist attack at the hands of an organization known as Il Veltro, which finally forced the Federal Bioterrorism Commission (FBC) and the US government to use a satellite known as Regia SOLIS to destroy the city, the satellite was used to concentrate the sun's rays and thus obtain energy for the solar panels that powered the city. Terragrigia was destroyed and since then this event became known as "The Terragrigia Panic".[27] A year later in 2005, mysterious corpses began to appear on a beach near the ruins of Terragrigia, Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani were sent to investigate the area under the direct supervision of the then Director of the BSAA, Clive R. O'Brian , which they encountered on the restricted beach. Jill and Parker analyzed the remains in the area using a scanning device called "Genesis" created by Quint Cetcham. Over time they came across some creatures shaped by a strange mass, which turned out to be Globsters. After completing the analysis of the area and destroying some Globsters, O'Brian received a call that seemed to be urgent. O'Brian informed Jill and Parker that agents Chris Redfield and Jessica Sherawat had been reported missing on a mission whose last recorded location had been in the Mediterranean Sea. Jill worried about Chris as Parker did about Jessica, she had already been his partner when they were both part of the FBC, Jill and Parker decided to go look for them, which O'Brian approved.

In search of Chris

Jill and Parker set off to the Mediterranean Sea, taking into account that it would be logical for Chris to be on a boat. When they arrived at the coordinate where, according to the last information received, Chris had last been, they found a huge boat called Queen Zenobia. , which they addressed. On the ship, the corpses of the crew were found, now converted into BOWs known as "Oozes", after defeating one of these creatures, Jill decided to go look for Chris on her own, leaving Parker behind to investigate that creature. .[27] Jill managed to find a room which had the door closed, but through a small grate she managed to see that inside the room there was a man tied to a chair, said man seemed to be Chris, Jill tried to call him but he appeared to be unconscious, then After this, Jill informed Parker about what she had seen and went in search of a key to open said door. During the search Jill saw how a woman was murdered by a pair of Oozes, when she arrived at the room she killed the two creatures and examined the woman's body, but she was unable to identify her, although she found the key she was looking for to open it. that closed door. Jill met Parker at the entrance to the room where it seemed that Chris was tied up. Upon opening the door and entering, they approached and Jill touched the back of who she thought was Chris. However, his head detached from his body and Then they noticed that it was not Chris but a doll similar to him. Furthermore, at that moment they noticed that there was an Il Veltro flag, so consequently, they had fallen into a trap. A gas began to enter the room which caused Jill and Parker to pass out. When Jill woke up she noticed that she was in one of the ship's cabins, separated from Parker, locked up and without weapons. After violating the system that locked the door and a few altercations,

Both managed to meet and recover their weapons. Your new objective would now be to reach the Boat Bridge. On the way there they managed to discover that the communications system was destroyed. After this they ran into FBC agent Raymond Vester, who was also on the boat, in a brief and annoying conversation, Raymond told them that they had no authority over the case and that nothing would change unless they got their hands dirty. , after this he left. The FBC and the BSAA didn't get along very well, likewise Jill and Parker didn't understand what Raymond was talking about. Taking the key from the Helmet, they headed to the Emergency Communications Room, there they discovered that another key they needed could only be obtained from the corpse of the Communications Officer, who left a note next to the Emergency Communications Room saying that he was on the promenade deck, where the food was and where the survivors had to go. After several confrontations with BOWs, they managed to find the Communications Officer, but he was no longer the same, due to a secondary mutation of the Abyss T-Virus he had become a Scagdead. Jill and Parker were forced to fight against that creature until they defeated it, in its remains they found the key they wanted to enter the Emergency Communications Room. Upon entering they noticed that somehow Raymond had already managed to get in, he told them that they had arrived late and then a video automatically played in which the leader of Il Veltro, Jack Norman, poured a sample of the Abyss T-Virus into a tank. full of fish which became BOWs known as Ghiozzo. Jill and Parker then headed to repair the ship's antenna.

After repairing the ship's antenna, they contacted O'Brian, who told them that Chris and Jessica were on their way, which surprised Jill. They also learned that the Regia SOLIS satellite was being planned to be used to destroy the Queen Zenobia, which led them to launch a small UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that was on the ship in order to confuse the satellite system causing it to attack. to the UAV and not to the ship. After confronting the mutated Rachael Foley (who turned out to be the woman she saw being killed by a pair of Oozes) and restoring power to Queen Zenobia, Jill and Parker manage to contact Chris and Jessica, who had come to rescue them. They agreed to meet in the ship's casino, when they arrived they noticed the presence of the same Il Veltro agent who had made them fall into the trap of the gas room. He was going to tell them the truth about the cause of the Terragrigia Panic, just at that moment Jessica arrived and shot the Il Veltro agent who, in turn, was talking to Jill and Parker. To Parker's surprise, after unmasking the terrorist it was revealed that he was in fact Raymond Vester. After this, Chris met with Jill and they headed to the ship's laboratory in order to prevent the Abyss T-Virus from contaminating the sea, while Parker and Jessica would look for a way to delay the sinking of the Queen Zenobia.[30] ] In the laboratories, Chris and Jill managed to neutralize the Abyss T-Virus once and for all, while their actions were monitored by Morgan Lansdale, the mastermind of the Terragrigia Panic. He revealed to them through a monitor that the Queen Zenobia would suffer the same fate as the Queen Semiramis. While escaping the ship, Parker was shot in the leg by Jessica, who turned out to be a double agent. Jill and Chris failed to save him from what appeared to be his death, although Parker managed to survive thanks to Raymond, who did not die either.

Outside the Queen Zenobia, they were attacked by the same BOWs that Chris had seen at sea and one that was giant, they managed to destroy with the help of Kirk Mathison. Despite this, the mission was not over yet, Director O'Brian spoke the truth to Jill and Chris, telling them everything about the conspiracy with Il Veltro and the Terragrigia Panic, revealing that this was orchestrated by him. himself and primarily by Morgan Lansdale with the aim of making the world aware of the dangers of bioterrorism. He also confirmed the existence of a third ship, the Queen Dido.

Queen Dido

In order to recover a video containing evidence that Morgan was a traitor, Chris and Jill headed to the sunken wreck of the Dido, beneath the ruins of Terragrigia, where they discovered that Jack Norman, the leader of Il Veltro, he was still alive. Norman had spent a lot of time underwater and had injected himself with the Abyss T-Virus in excess, becoming the "Ultimate Abyss". During the fight, Chris and Jill were able to destroy the creature and recover Norman's PDA in order to reveal the truth about the Terragrigia Panic, thus causing Morgan's arrest and the decline of the FBC. After this, most of the teams and members of the FBC became part of the BSAA, which became the most powerful global organization to combat bioterrorism.

El Arresto de Oswell E. Spencer

In 2006, Chris and Jill received a tip from a reliable source detailing the location of Umbrella founder Oswell E. Spencer. They headed to his location with the intention of arresting him for questioning in order to find Albert. The mission was monitored. by the Headquarters (HQ) of the European Branch of the BSAA used the code name "Nest". Upon entering the Spencer Family Mansion it was not long before they discovered the bodies of Spencer's bodyguards who had already been brutally murdered through "unconventional means". Both had to survive and endure numerous puzzles and traps built in the Mansion, and fight against quite a few Blobs that relentlessly pursued them throughout their mission. When they managed to reach the mansion's gardens, they fell through one of the traps across an old bridge and landed in the sewers, thus losing most of their equipment. Helpless, the agents relied solely on their wits to outsmart and eliminate the remaining Blobs before making their escape from the sewers. When they reached the last hallway of the mansion, they discovered that more bodyguards had been horribly murdered. When they opened the last door where Spencer could be hiding, they were greeted by Wesker, who had just killed Spencer a few minutes before they arrived. A brief battle soon followed. Although the two put up a strong fight, Chris and Jill saw each other and were overcome by Wesker's superhuman powers, and so, when Wesker was about to deliver the blow that would end Chris's life, Jill lunged at Wesker. , throwing them both out of a window into the abyss beyond the mansion's cliff, Chris could do nothing when he saw Jill and Wesker fall through that window.

The BSAA conducted a three-month search to find Jill's body, but without success. As a result, Jill Valentine was officially declared killed in the line of duty. For the next 3 years, Chris refused to believe that Jill had died, and set out on every available mission in hopes of finding some kind of clue to Jill's whereabouts and even made a promise about her grave.

Albert Wesker's experiments

Neither Jill nor Wesker died on that occasion after falling into the abyss. Seriously injured and unconscious, Jill survived thanks to the help of Wesker who, after subjecting her to the corresponding medical treatment, cryogenized her. His plan was to use her as his first guinea pig once the Uroboros project was completed. It was his way of exacting his revenge. Fortunately for Jill, luck was on her side. The device that monitored his vital signs detected certain anomalies. Something was happening inside his body and Wesker couldn't help but satisfy his curiosity. Upon investigating the case, she discovered that a mutant form of the T-Virus was still inside her. It was a remnant of the infection he contracted in Raccoon City. The cure he received should have eliminated all viral agents from his body, but instead, it caused the virus to remain in his body in a dormant state. Somehow, after spending a long period of time cryogenic, the virus had reactivated. Shortly after the virus' reactivation, it disappeared completely, although it left something in its place: Wesker discovered that Jill's body now possessed extraordinarily powerful antibodies. Amazingly, during all these years that the T-Virus had resided in her body, Jill had developed a miraculous immune system. This discovery fueled Wesker's ambitions. The development of the Uroboros virus, the key to the Uroboros project, was extremely complicated. The virus developed from the Progenitor flower had turned out to be too harmful to be useful, since, instead of promoting human evolution, it only leads to death. Wesker believed that Jill's antibodies could reduce the dangerousness of the virus, so he decided to keep her alive to produce the antibodies necessary for research.

Ironically, Jill, the great detractor of biological weapons who had dedicated her life to eradicating them completely, was being used to develop the most terrible biological weapon. After a long period of research and experimentation, Wesker managed to perfect the Uroboros. Her involvement in the development of the virus ruled Jill out as a guinea pig for testing, as her body was protected by pure, unaltered antibodies. However, Wesker thought he would find some use for her another time. During the investigation of the parent virus, the existence of a new chemical substance was discovered. The scientists referred to it as P30. Patients who received it not only acquired superhuman strength, but also became extremely vulnerable to manipulation. The P30 was the ultimate performance enhancer. The goal of the Uroboros project was to create a new race of humans, so the P30 did not seem to have any relevance. However, it was concluded that it could be marketed as a product to raise additional funds. A simultaneous investigation was initiated with the Plagas and the P30 to create perfect soldiers who would follow orders without resisting. Unfortunately, the latter did not give the expected results. The effects of P30 lasted a very short time. The human body metabolized and expelled the contents of a P30 injection at a high rate, requiring frequent re-administration, which reduced the viability of the product to become a long-term performance enhancer. The only solution was to place a device on the subject to administer the drug continuously. However, although the effects of P30 were short-lived, it was still a potent and effective substance. Since the effects of continued administration were unknown, an external device was incorporated into Jill's body.

Africa, Kijuju

Brainwashed and disguised, Jill took part in an incident that spread throughout the Kijuju Autonomous Zone. Sent to help and care for Ricardo Irving and to lure her former BSAA comrades into a trap, Jill infected a local villager with the Uroboros Virus and left him there to mutate and attack unsuspecting BSAA members. He then left the room and joined his "partner".[34] Chris went to Kijuju to investigate strange events that somehow involved Ricardo Irving, along with his new partner for that mission, BSAA SOA Agent Sheva Alomar, who would be his guide in the region. After meeting Sheva, Chris had a brief flashback to Jill's tombstone, apparently the word "companion" reminded him of Jill. Jill and Irving met later and saw through a camera that officers Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar were in a garage. Irving decided to leave the place and leave with Jill in a truck and they retreated to the mines. Chris and Sheva later met up with Josh Stone, Delta Team Captain of the African Branch of the BSAA. Josh gave Chris a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), and when Chris looked at it he noticed that there was a woman containing a striking resemblance to Jill Valentine, then Chris had a quick flashback about Jill's death. He still had hope that Jill was alive. Later Chris and Sheva finally found Irving in a warehouse. Chris, Sheva and Irving had a brief conversation while signing up. Suddenly, a smoke grenade came through the window, after a moment of confusion, Jill being disguised entered through a warehouse window, grabbed Irving and left. While the two escaped, the agents managed to discover where they were going: an oil field in the swamps.

Inside the oil field base, Jill gave Irving a briefcase full of gold bars as payment, however, Irving told her that she was "one of Excella's toys." Jill demanded to know how Irving planned to eliminate Chris and Sheva since all other attempts had failed. He strangled Irving and held him to a wall using his enhanced strength. Finally he convinced her that he would take care of the situation, Jill released him and handed him a strain of Plague Control, ordering him to use it. Chris and Sheva met up with Josh again, then Sheva explained to Josh the situation with Chris upon seeing Jill's picture. Irving tried to avoid having to inject himself with the plague by activating the self-destruct system to get rid of the agents and fled on his yacht, Jill accompanied him to the dock one last time and then jumped onto a high-speed boat and escaped, Sheva caught up with him. to see them. Later Irving had to use the plague control, then he mutated and finally died at the hands of Chris and Sheva, in his last words Irving told them where to go. Jill arrived at the cave leading to the underground facility to inform Wesker and Gionne about what happened. Wesker sent them both to confront the agents while he waited for them in the control room. Finally, Chris and Sheva, after several battles and difficult situations, entered a facility where there were many capsules. Chris tried to find Jill there but to no avail. Instead, they had to destroy the U-8 released by Excella. After this they decided to go after Excella since she knew where Jill was.

After defeating the U-8 and the Uroboros Mkono, they finally manage to corner her, but to Chris' surprise, the one who reappeared from the shadows was his old rival, Albert Wesker, thus confirming his suspicion that he was still alive, but was not there. alone, there was also the masked figure next to him, when Wesker saw him he said: Is this a big family gathering?, and after a conversation he removed the hood when he was masked... Chris couldn't believe what he saw, the The person behind that mask was his sought-after partner Jill Valentine. Luckily for her, Jill had not died that night at the Spencer family mansion, Wesker captured her to later take revenge on Chris by using her as the means to do so. An arduous confrontation occurred between Chris and Sheva against Wesker and Jill. Finally Wesker withdrew, leaving Jill to deal with the agents. Thanks to great teamwork with his partner Sheva, Chris managed to save Jill, taking away the device called P30 which supplied her with a serum that left her vulnerable to manipulation and giving her extraordinary strength and physical dexterity. Then, Jill decided to stay behind, telling Chris that he must stop Wesker now more than ever since the fate of all humanity depended on the success of this task since Wesker planned to spread the new Uroboros Virus throughout the planet, Chris did not want to leave to Jill, but in the end she managed to persuade him to do it, she also apologized for her actions and asked Sheva to take care of Chris. As Chris left, Jill whispered his name and fainted.

Kijuju Escape

Josh tracked down Chris and Sheva some time later. When he arrived at the Monarch's Room he realized that a woman was on the floor. When he woke her up, he realized that the woman was Jill Valentine. He helped her up and indicated that he was looking for Chris and Sheva. Jill told him that they had gone after Albert Wesker and that he was on board a ship. Josh told Jill that he had a helicopter waiting with which they could reach him, there they began a long journey in which they had to face various enemies.[37] Jill told Josh that she had to go to the communications complex in order to tell Chris how to defeat Wesker, since she had forgotten to tell him before. Throughout their journey, the two were attacked by many Majinis and other BOWs. In some cases they had to use the Majini's weapons to advance. Once they arrived at the compound, with Josh's help, Jill contacted Chris and Sheva, and told them about the origin of Wesker's power and how to stop him; Wesker needed to give himself a serum to be able to stabilize the virus he had inside him, but if he was injected with an excess dose of that serum, it could be final, turning it into a kind of poison for him, he gave the name of the serum; PG67A/W. Hearing this, Sheva remembered the serum she collected earlier and verified that they indeed had samples of such a virus on their hands, then Jill mentioned to them that she would go in search of an escape route. Josh and Jill were forced to move forward and fight the Majinis until Doug, the helicopter pilot, finally arrived. Once there, Josh helped Jill onto the helicopter and realized that Doug wasn't on board yet. Doug was then killed with a rocket launcher by the same majini who had tried to kill Jill earlier, Josh raised the helicopter and Jill shot the majini in the head with the rocket launcher, which went off...

Josh evaded the missile. Then Josh was upset about losing Doug and so they headed off to help Chris and Sheva. Josh and Jill arrived just at the right time to help Chris and Sheva escape from the volcano when Wesker had already fallen into the lava (See: Death of Albert Wesker). Jill threw up a ladder and then Chris and Sheva climbed up. Albert, even though he was in the lava, had not died, he shouted "Chris!!!" and with his left arm he launched tentacles formed by the Uroboros to take the helicopter and destabilize it, then Jill told Chris and Sheva to use the helicopter's rocket launchers, they proceeded to do so and fired, that was when Albert Wesker died after being hit by the explosion when he was 48 years old.

Post Kijuju Incident

Chris, Jill, Sheva and Josh were the ones who managed to come out alive from the Kijuju incident, Jill smiled at Chris as he looked at her and Sheva's faces full of joy, and that was when he decided to continue fighting for a world without fear. After the Kijuju incident, scientific tests were done on Jill to determine the effects of Albert's experiments and possible consequences; after the tests, she entered rehabilitation. Jill was tested every other day, which kind of made her fed up. It is known that she spoke with Chris but there are not many details about it, Chris told her that she had been officially declared missing in action, and that Barry had taken it very badly.[38] Jill also sent an E-Mail to Barry telling him that she was fine, she gave him some advice to make peace with Moira, she also told him that when he recovered the three of them should stay together (She, Chris and Barry) and that Since he didn't even have a funeral, he deserved a grand welcome party, ending the E-Mail with the expression of a smiling face and winking.

Personality and Relationships

Jill Valentine is a very serious person when it comes to matters of life or death, always responding according to the situations that arise, and she also cares about all her colleagues. Not much is known about Jill's personality at a young age, but in an email sent to Barry Burton, she commented: "Have you made peace with Moira yet? Girls her age can be a nightmare. "I know because I was. You have to be patient and work on understanding her. And sometimes you just need to give them space. I know you just want to protect her, but you have to be careful not to do it too much." Chris Redfield is possibly the person closest to her, since they met in STARS they formed a bond that has kept them together for many years, they have participated in missions together and have even saved each other's lives on several occasions, especially Chris she. Jill has a very good friendship with Barry. From what is known, Jill also knows Barry's entire family as does Chris. There has always been a doubt if there is something between her and Chris that goes beyond camaraderie, however, the way they treat each other seems to show that there is. Chris cares a lot about her, the times he has lost her he left his main missions to go look for her, as demonstrated in 2005 and then 2006, the same goes for Jill, who even gave her life to save Chris in 2006. Jessica Sherawat had feelings for Chris, she threw many hints at him, which he ignored, to which Parker Luciani commented "He may be busy already, Jessica" referring to Chris and Jill. Even in the bonus episode of Resident Evil 5, Desperate Escape, after Chris retreated, Jill fell to the ground whispering his name.
