Alternate Cat (Mary)

DING Your phone pings with a notification, and you see that it's from your friend. He's asking for a huge favor - can you house sit for him? There's been a family emergency and he has to leave town urgently. You quickly reply that you can help and make plans to be there in a couple of hours.

As you drive through the forest, you pass a sign that reads "Now entering Mandela Country." You can't help but feel a little uneasy, knowing the rumors about this place. But you brush it off and continue on. When you arrive at your friend's house, he's already left but has left a key under a nearby rock. You let yourself in and get settled on the couch, turning on the TV and ordering some pizza.

Twenty minutes later, there's a knock at the door. You assume it's the pizza guy, but when you open the door, you're surprised to see a strange cat with a red collar. Without thinking, you let the cat in, even though you know it's not the pizza. "Mary" is written on a gold piece of the collar
