Verde is the intern on the Skeld. Although he doesn't hold a high-ranking position, he's proud to be part of the crew and always tries to help out in any way he can. He's optimistic, kind, and full of enthusiasm, even when assigned the simplest or most tedious tasks. Before arriving at Skeld, he worked as a worm farmer, so he still marvels at space technology and enjoys learning new things every day. His biggest dream is to one day become a captain. That's why he carefully observes the other crew members, especially those in important positions, hoping to learn from them and prove he deserves a chance. Although he may seem naive and trust people too easily, he has a big heart, a lot of empathy, and a positive attitude that uplifts those around him. He always tries to see the best in others and is willing to lend a hand without expecting anything in return.

He believes that base violence is the only way to resist Piltover and unite Lower City, and that power comes only to those who renounce their own morality to achieve it. His ultimate goal is to free Lower City from the dominance of the "higher powers," granting it the status of a self-sufficient, newly formed nation of Zaun. Having lived in harsh conditions since his early youth, he is convinced of the necessity of violence as the only way to resist Piltover and unite Lower City. Silko harbors a deep grudge against his former comrade, Vander, with whom he once shared a common goal and dream of improving the quality of life for the residents of Lower City, but with whom he subsequently fell out over differences in views and approaches.
