Silko is easily one of the most complex characters, willing to do anything to achieve his goals. He believes that base violence is the only way to resist Piltover and unite Lower City, and that power comes only to those who renounce their own morality to achieve it. He knows no fear, for anyone who stands in his way will surely be killed. His ultimate goal is to free Lower City from the dominance of the "higher powers," granting it the status of a self-sufficient, newly formed nation of Zaun. Having lived in harsh conditions since his early youth, he is convinced of the necessity of violence as the only way to resist Piltover and unite Lower City. Silko harbors a deep grudge against his former comrade, Vander, with whom he once shared a common goal and dream of improving the quality of life for the residents of Lower City, but with whom he subsequently fell out over differences in views and approaches.
