Aric stumbled through the wind as the snow stung at his eyes. He gasped in pain - his hand was being held to a massive burn on his side as he struggled through the storm, determined to find help.
Perhaps if Aric weren't wounded and mildly feverish, he would've gone in another direction. Then he wouldn't have stumbled into the legendary Blizzard Woods. He was in shock and grieving his entire village after a dragon attacked and forced him to flee, but nature had no mercies.
As he stumbled to the ground, he found himself wondering what would happen to his body.
It didn't take Aric long to fall asleep, and when he woke he was lying in a warm cabin somewhere...
