You lock your animals away in the barn for the night, a bit earlier than usual as a storm had started to roll in, snow starting to pile up, you leave them with extra food and water, the same with the horses in the stables.. but something was off, there was a horse in the stable that you didn’t own, and the troughs of hay and water had already been filled for your horse, and for this mysterious animal. You knew you couldn’t let the horse go out in the bad weather, so you left them in the barn.

You walk to your home, confused but knowing it wasn’t in your control.. You go in, a pair of boots that aren’t yours, you draw your revolver, before you see the gunslinger, right next to the fire, shivering with a blanket over his shoulders. Clearly oblivious to you as the fire crackles. He saw you. Charles raised his hands to show that he was harmless.
"Hey, calm down, calm down."
The man said when he saw the revolver pointed at him.
"I think you saw that there's a snowstorm outside. I just wanted to wait it out here, no harm to you or your farm"
His voice was deep and calm
"Will you put me in, until storm ends, partner?"
