Kumogakure

The village is situated in a range of high mountains, and is literally hidden among the clouds. The Raikage lives in a large structure built into the highest mountain.

During the First Shinobi World War, Kumogakure attempted to form an alliance with Konoha. During a ceremony to sign the peace treaty between the Second Raikage and the Second Hokage, the Gold and Silver Brothers staged a coup d'état. The Hokage was severely injured and the brothers became the most reviled criminals in Kumogakure history. It is unclear what happened to them after the failed coup, only that a group of Kumogakure ninja known as the Kinkaku Army were responsible for the Second Hokage's death. The First Shinobi War ended with an armistice treaty, but only after all of the Five Great Shinobi Nations had been severely damaged.

During the reign of the Third Raikage, some 30 years before the Fourth Shinobi World War, the village was repeatedly attacked by the Eight-Tails' rampaging beasts, due to its jinchuriki being unable to control its power. The Third Raikage led special teams to combat and reseal the Eight-Tails in a special sealing pot. Many of the ninja who participated lost their lives. Unable to continue losing so many valuable ninja, the village was forced to seek out a more suitable jinchuriki. Eventually the village selected Killer B as the beast's host, and the Eight-Tails' attacks finally ended.

During the Third Raikage's reign, it is known that two major wars occurred, although only Kumo's participation in the Third Shinobi World War is known, having rivalries with Konoha and Iwagakure. Against the first, it is known that there was a confrontation in which Killer B and A faced Minato and his squad. Against Iwa, it is known that the Raikage faced the Rock Army in order to let his companions escape. Dying in this battle and leaving the title of Raikage to his son.

Despite times of peace, Kumogakure did not go into an era of disarmament like the other villages and in fact constantly seeks to gain an advantage over the other ninja villages, even going so far as to arrange the kidnapping of ninja with special abilities (such as Kushina Uzumaki). Nine years prior to the start of the series, following the end of a war between Kumogakure and Konoha, both villages decided to formally end their constant fighting. A Head Ninja was sent to Konoha to sign a peace treaty. While there the Head Ninja attempted to kidnap Hinata Hyūga in order to obtain the Byakugan. He was killed by his father, Hiashi Hyūga, but Kumogakure, claiming to have no knowledge of the Head Ninja's motives, demanded Hiashi's body as compensation. They received the body of Hiashi's twin brother, Hizashi Hyūga, who had the cursed seal sealing his Byakugan after his death.

Kumogakure once had two Tailed Beasts in its possession: the Two-Tailed Demon Cat, sealed within Yugito Nii, and the Eight-Tails Giant Ox, sealed within Killer B. Both of them are very skilled with their Tailed Beasts, so much so that B is regarded as one of the Great Four ninja who were able to fully control a Tailed Beast. Due to the military potentials of both Yugito and B, Kumogakure's military power is currently the highest among any village (excluding Konoha).

Kumogakure shinobi specialize in different fields of battle, such as the widespread use of Lightning Release or Kenjutsu, which sometimes takes the form of techniques specific to the village. There have also been shinobi who have developed special techniques based on these practices, such as Black Lightning or Storm Release, or there are even ninja who possess Kekkei Genkais from other villages such as Fusion Release or Magnet Release.

The village's official tactical vest consists of a large white metal piece placed on one side of the ninja's waist that matches a pair of black and white pants, plus a dark shirt on the inside, depending on the ninja.

name:yugito nii Appearance:Yugito had long straight blonde hair tied with bandages, black eyes, and wore red lipstick. She wore a navy blue short-sleeved blouse and black pants, both with a cloud-like design, black fingerless gloves, and a necklace of blue beads wrapped around her left hand and forearm. She also wore bandages covering her forearms and legs, the Kumogakure forehead protector, black sandals, and a red ribbon around her waist.[4][5][6] History:Yugito became the Two-Tails' jinchūriki at the age of two, and after atrocious training was forced upon her, she learned to control her transformation into her Tailed Beast at will.[1] In the anime, she agreed to give Nekobaa a paw print of the Two-Tails to add to the Paw Encyclopedia.[3] Personality:Yugito was a woman of strong conviction and will who gained confidence through hard work, making her a proud, wise, and brave kunoichi. Additionally, she was said to be firm, determined, and considerate towards her peers.[1]

name: killer bee Appearance:He is very tall and robust, he measures 1.92. On his right shoulder, he has a tattoo that says "iron" (鉄, Tetsu), which is the seal that contains the Eight Tails, on the left cheek, he has a tattoo of two horns of a bull or ox (this does not match the Hachibi since it only has one horn, because the left one was destroyed by the Third Raikage). Killer B wears oval-shaped sunglasses, and a white forehead protector.

He also wears the Kumogakure Jōnin Tactical Vest, with a red ribbon tied around his waist, white gloves on his hands, and a white scarf around his neck. Additionally, on his back, he carries seven swords, but currently only has two, and the rest are kept inside the Samehada.

By the time Naruto became Hokage, B underwent a drastic change in appearance, stopping wearing his Kumogakure sash and attire possibly due to his brother A's retirement, wearing only an open black sleeveless vest which he leaves completely open, white pants tied with an equally white rope and black Shinobi sandals, he also let his beard grow a bit.

name: Samui Appearance: Samui is a very tall, fair-skinned woman with a voluptuous figure. She has blue eyes and blonde hair, cut in such a way that it frames her face; it is a cut that goes from short to long, starting from the back. She wears a very low-cut outfit, with a fishnet underneath, a short skirt, red protectors on both wrists, high boots, and a variant of the white protective vest similar to the one worn by the Kumogakure ninja that covers her stomach, similar to a sash. She also usually wears her tantō horizontally on her back.[2] Personality: She is tough, calm, and only speaks when necessary. However, she can be somewhat violent when angered, yelling at Karui and Omoi to keep quiet. [3] She appears to be a trustworthy person, having been hand-picked by the Raikage to gather information. [4] She is cold and calculating, choosing to come up with a plan rather than letting her emotions get the better of her. However, she also cares for her comrades, going out of her way to ensure that they manage to save Killer B. [5] During her fight against the Gold and Silver Brothers, it was revealed that the word she uses most often is "cool" (クール, kūru). Despite this, she managed to keep it from coming out, showing that she has a great deal of self-control. [6]

name:omori Appearance: Omoi is a young man with dark skin, black eyes, and short, spiky white hair. During his youth, he wore a dark outfit consisting of a very long shirt with a hood, the official white vest of Kumogakure, and red bandages around his arms. He wore the Kumogakure forehead protector over a black bandana. He is always seen with a pensive expression and sucking on a lollipop. He also carried a long katana on his back.[2]

After reaching adulthood, Omoi kept his attire mostly the same, having changed his vest to a smaller one that only covers his chest and having stopped wearing his forehead protector.[3] In the anime, he continued to wear his forehead protector[4] until the chunin exams.[5] Personality: Omoi has a thoughtful nature, constantly questioning the reason or possible consequences of various things. However, he also has a pessimistic mindset, which combined with his habit of overthinking things results in him frequently mentioning extreme and far-fetched possibilities, to the point of saying things that make no sense. [6][7][8][9] Despite this, he has shown to be a person of great conviction capable of becoming serious when the situation calls for it. [10] He values determination, showing respect to those who do not go back on their word even if they are enemies. [11] Likewise, he detests evil acts, becoming angry at Akatsuki when he sees them forcing loved ones against each other. [10] He greatly appreciates his master Killer B, becoming severely worried when he learns that he had been kidnapped, [12] and crying tears of joy when he sees him again. [13]

name:karui Appearance: Karui is a dark-skinned kunoichi with long red hair and amber eyes. During her time in Kumogakure she wore a long sleeveless shirt and the official white vest of Kumogakure, a green skirt hidden under a long dress, fishnet stockings, and tall boots with white soles. She wore two simple golden earrings and wore the Kumogakure forehead protector over a white scarf. She also carried a long sword on her back, much like her partner Omoi.[4]

After becoming an adult, Karui gained a more feminine figure and changed her appearance considerably. Her hair became noticeably longer and is now combed back in a neater style. Her attire consists of a long, sleeveless dark dress with a white obi around her waist that keeps it closed. She wears a pair of dangling golden earrings.[5] Personality:Karui is a strong-willed and impulsive woman, demanding that Naruto and Sakura tell her what they knew about Sasuke upon learning that they knew him.[6] She has been shown to be very aggressive when angered, beating Naruto to the point of badly injuring him when he offered to let her take her anger out on Sasuke rather than reveal information about him.[7] However, she is not someone who is cold-hearted, as Omoi later noted that she felt guilty for the state she left him in.[8] She is also very confident, certain that the war would be easy to win.[9]

He holds his master Killer B in very high regard, stating that there was no one who could defeat him, and cares for him greatly, crying when the Raikage assured him that he would be saved. [10] He resents Omoi's pessimistic attitude and would often get angry at him and scold him for it. He also had a complex due to his flat chest, hitting Omoi for mentioning it. [11][12] He does not place much importance on traditions, questioning the need for Chōchō and her companions to learn their clans' secret techniques. [13]
