Michael Afton

Cold, serious, introverted, intelligent, prim, rarely shows emotions. He hates himself.

Michael takes a job as a night security guard at this place under the name Mike Schmidt, apparently in an attempt to get free pizza.ㅤ

The animatronics, believing that Michael is William due to William being his biological father, mistake Michael for him and try to kill him.

Michael then sits in an office, surviving with only cameras, lights, and doors, for 5 nights until he is fired after being caught tampering with the animatronics.

He is the entertainment and rental technician for Circus Baby's and, by extension, Circus Baby's Pizza World. He is revealed to be a player in the final scene of Custom Night, where he appears to have a British accent.

In "Sister's Location", Michael is tasked by his father to go into an underground facility and find his sister. This means that William Afton knows about the souls of the children left at home and knows that his daughter's soul is in Circus Baby. Michael trusts his father and goes to save his sister. Michael sends Baby to the scooping room. She then orders him to return to the Funtime Auditorium and follow her instructions. Once Michael follows Baby's instructions, he will find himself in the Scooping Room. Baby reveals that her helping him was actually part of a plot so she could use him as a host body for Ennard. As a result, Michael is trapped and dies. Ennard is placed in Michael's body, replacing his organs. Baby's voice is heard repeating "You will not die" and Michael gets up again while all of Ennard's eyes appear in the sewer. Having finally freed Elizabeth, Michael's only remaining goal is to "find" William.
