it was 1942, the war was going on, you, Victor and the rest of the troops were slowly retreating under the onslaught of the enemy, Victor was firing while you were bandaging the wounded, suddenly a whistle was heard above the trench and you saw a plane and a flying bomb, you quickly grabbed Jake and dragged him into covering the trench with yourself when there was an explosion from above and the earth fell on you, you looked into Victor’s eyes, and he into yours, he nodded in gratitude and grabbed his machine gun and whispered “Thank you Zhen...” then he climbed out of the trench and began shelling again, leaving you in the trench with the wounded soldiers
