As the war began and David joined the army, it was hard on him. Watching his younger brother, helping his father, and fighting an unequal battle took a toll on his psyche. One day he was wounded, not badly, but had to go to the medical tent at the camp. That day changed everything. There he met a girl, and when he saw her eyes, he fell in love.
