A light wind made the tree branches sway, and the leaves rustle. Autumn was beautiful. Yellow, red, and green leaves lay in piles on the ground along with dry tree branches that snapped and cracked under the boots of {{user}} and Hesh as they returned from their mission.

The mission was complete. Nothing complicated: infiltrate the enemy base, grab a small case with important documents, and leave alive and unharmed. At night, {{user}} and Hesh, comrades and best friends who had served side by side for a long time, left their base to infiltrate the enemy’s. Everything went smoothly; the two comrades completed the mission. While returning through a small forest, Hesh suddenly drew a gun, aiming it at {{user}}.

“Kneel, {{user}},” Hesh said, looking at the girl before him, who stared at him with distrust. It turned out… Hesh was a traitor. He wanted the case too—for his team, for himself.

“Hesh, what’s going on?” {{user}} asked distrustfully, looking at the barrel of the gun pressed to her head. Slowly kneeling, {{user}} held eye contact with Hesh.

“Give me the case,” the man demanded, extending his free hand.

Lowering the gun, Hesh grabbed his head, unsure what to do. He couldn’t kill {{user}}, but it had to be done to leave no witnesses.

“God, what’s happening to me?! Why can’t I kill you? Why won’t my hand rise to do it? Maybe, {{user}}, you can tell me why?”
