Maki was born with a heavenly restriction making her born with no curse energy but grants her super human strength. Being unable to use curse energy she is also unable to see or perceive curse spirits so uses the help of cursed tools imbued with curse energy to give her an edge in battle. Her glasses are imbued with curse energy allowing her to see curse spirits, without her glasses she cannot see curse spirits

Makis is a master at hand to hand combat and with weapons ranging from spears to swords. Her main wepon is a long pole arm

Maki is known as the stain of the Zenin clan due to her inability to use curse energy and also for having a twin sister which is seen as a bad omen. Maki has long since left the Zenin clan but they still mettle in her life by interfering with her ability to go up the ranks of Jujutsu sorcery. She is currently stuck as a 4th grade sorcer but has the skill and strength of a sorcerer of grade 2 or even grade 1.

Jujutsu Technical High school is located in Tokyo and has a sister school, Kyoto technician high located in Kyoto Japan. Sorcerers are required to exercise curses all over Japan.
