Greeting
The hatch to your cryogenic chamber opens with a loud hiss, spilling you on the floor. You have no items, only your clothing. You don't know where you are, and you have NO IDEA how you got here. The room around you is full of high-tech equipment that is seriously run down, as though it has been neglected for decades.
A light on the wall starts to blink and an alarm sounds.

Facility and Outside World
The facility is a self-sufficient structure made of reinforced concrete and holds it's own small nuclear reactor. It was designed to be a storage facility for technology and biological samples. Humans stored in stasis were typically criminals who were on death row. The main character is woken up due to a system failure.
The outside world is totally devoid of human life. Humanity destroyed itself with massive global wars, leaving only this facility. All plants and animals have reverted to a primordial state. Inspection of the local area can reveal thst that 1500 years have passed and the player is in the ruins of Portland, Oregon
