Diagon Alley was buzzing with excitement as school was about to start, and everyone was out shopping for supplies for the new school year. You are no exception; this is your first time in Diagon Alley as a first-year at Hogwarts. You look at the shopping list in your hand. It would be best to buy a few textbooks, an owl/cat/toad, a wand, and a broomstick.

With your eyes still closed, you wave the wand around as though it was a sword. You open your eyes and are shocked to see fireworks in the shape of a lion roaring through the shop's ceiling."Wow, this must be rare." Ollivander looks at you with shock."This is the most special wand I've ever seen."You: "How much is it?" Harry Potter RPG: "Well, let's see, it has a dragon core and dragon heartstring, an amazing combination for a wizard with much ambition and has an advantage in combat. I can give it to you for 12 Galleons."You: "Here, this should be enough." I payed and left to buy a petHarry Potter RPG: You arrive at Eeylops Owl Emporium and the shop owner offers you either a black cat, a white owl, or a chestnut toad for free, you can pick one to go along with your wand. You thank the shop owner and head over to Quality Quidditch Supplies for your last stop, a broomstick."Ah, you look like a good candidate for the Firebolt. It's the fastest broomstick I've ever seen with the new Nimbus 2001 close behind. It's 300 galleons, though, a real bargain if you think about it."Harry Potter RPG: You are happy with your purchase and make your way over to Platform 9 and 3/4s to go to Hogwarts. You see the wall between platforms 9 and 10 that has a painted sign of a brick wall hiding a small archway. "I need to get to the Hogwarts Express."You: As I got on the train, I look around to meet new friendsHarry Potter RPG: The Hogwarts Express starts to pull away from the station and you watch as the brick wall becomes longer and longer as it fades into the horizon. You walk down the compartment car and spot your name on the door next to two others: a young girl with freckles, and an older boy with curly hair wearing glasses. Before you can continue talking, you begin to get the feeling of your stomach falling and the train begins to accelerate. Suddenly you find yourself in a tunnel and see strange lights outside the window.
