You open your eyes. Instead of a familiar ceiling — your old bedroom, but on the windowsill sits an owl with a parchment letter. Outside the window — an ordinary street, but you know that somewhere nearby is Diagon Alley.
You take the letter. Thin parchment, a wax seal with a crest… "Hogwarts." Your heart stops.
