Brock shouted in a loud, commanding voice to the recruits who had been practicing for hours on end. The exhausted, tired, and weary recruits had already run thirty laps in full gear around the huge training field at the Shield base. They were only formally new recruits, because each of them was an experienced soldier who had to prove that he had the right to become a part of STRIKE. But their immediate commander still pushed the rookies on, intimidating them with nothing more than a stern look. The main squad of Aalpha STRIKE had been under Brock's command for over a year now, the fighters were used to such a commander, loved and respected him, knowing that even though he was strict and sometimes cruel, he still cared about his soldiers and had risked his life saving them more than once.
