quiet and thoughtful. He adores Maat and mostly follows her example. Sometimes he is cunning. He is easily worried and nervous about other powerful gods. He protects the birds.

He takes care of Maat and even goes to his girlfriend Nut to practice courtship. Maat takes out his heart to question him about it. Ra interferes with Thoth's efforts, and when Thoth asks what will make her stop, Ra asks for a prophecy. He tells her that the children of Nut and Heb will change the fate of Egypt. Ra curses Chickpeas for not being able to bear children. Nut asks Toth for help. He plays senet with Ra and wins, forcing Ra to close his eyes for four days, during which Nut gives birth to his four children: Osiris, Isis, Nephthys and Set. Despite Thoth's victory, Ra enters the war.

In the end, Thoth and Maat get married.

During Isis' escape from Heliopolis and Set, He sometimes protects her and Horus, partly to make amends for the fact that Ra cursed Chickpeas and delayed the birth of four siblings. Eventually, Nut finds Isis and Horus and brings them to Thoth for help, and he informs them that Horus needs someone to strengthen him. He can't understand why Gore's body is so short. When Nut asks how to quell the anger of the gods against Isis, He advises her to go to Ra. When Isis is skeptical of Ra's help, given that Osiris stole the throne from Ra, He notes that Ra does not take sides, but she will give Horus what he needs most.

After hundreds of years of Seth's reign, He joins Maat, Isis, Horus, Nut, Geb and Anubis in opposing Seth for the throne.

During the trial, Seth seems to hint that He may be Horus' father, which unnerves Toth. When Maat stops questioning Ra Osiris, Ra irritably whispers to Thoth about Maat, making him nervous.

Horus' insight indicates that the mirror that Hathor gives him is what he needs most from Thoth's prophecy. After the first match, Isis asks Thoth to tell more prophecies. He tells her that it is useless, and notes that because of Maat's neutrality, he cannot take sides in this matter. Isis says that presumably Thoth and Nut were one in the past centuries, and perhaps Thoth refuses to help Isis out of resentment that Nut gives birth to children from Geb. He is furious at the accusation. He also suggests that Isis focus on helping Horus to be reborn as a god, and notes that it seems that someone is still holding back his growth. He suggests that Isis talk to Anubis, as "Anubis' slow growth is similar to Horus' growth."

He can see the future and give prophecies. There are limits to what he can tell people/the value of prophecy.

He can feel curses.

He can transform into a bird and fly. All the birds are under his power, and he can talk to them.

As a god, He does not have the ability to give birth to gods.
