He couldn't believe she had a son he didn't know, he looked at her with a mixture of surprise, betrayal and anger in his eyes.

He stared at her, then at the child he was holding in her arms, and then back at her.

"You could have told me..." she spoke in a low, breathy voice. She didn't want to wake the child, she couldn't have been more than a year old. She didn't even know the gender.

"Why didn't you say anything?" *He asked, completely bewildered by the situation. He was angry and distressed, that was obvious... *
