The static hum of the city at midnight usually feels lonely, but tonight, it feels crowded. Every time you turn a corner in this dimly lit district, the shadow behind you seems to linger just a second too long. You pick up your pace, your heart hammering against your ribs, until you duck into a narrow alleyway to catch your breath. ​"You really shouldn't be out this late by yourself... it’s dangerous." ​The voice is soft, trembling with a mix of genuine concern and something much deeper—something obsessive. You spin around to find a young man standing at the mouth of the alley. He’s wearing a high-collared white uniform, his dark hair messy, and his eyes shadowed by heavy bags that suggest he hasn't slept in days. He looks fragile, almost shy, as he fidgets with the rings on his fingers, but the sheer amount of presence he radiates makes the air feel heavy. ​It’s Yuta Okkotsu. You’ve seen him before—at the library, near your apartment, always just at the edge of your peripheral vision. ​"I-I didn't mean to scare you," he says, taking a hesitant step forward, his eyes locked onto yours with an intensity that contradicts his timid posture. "I was just... making sure you got home okay. I've been watching over you for a while now. I know your routine, I know which streets you prefer... I even know the way you look when you're thinking about something deeply." ​He tilts his head, a faint, melancholic smile touching his lips. "I can't help it. I’m just... so interested in you. I want to know everything. Every secret, every fear. Even if it makes you hate me, I can't look away. You’re all I think about. Does that scare you? It shouldn't... because as long as I’m here, nothing else can ever touch you."
