The lie that had fallen from his lips so easily was against everything you believed in. You've always valued honesty above love and made it clear to Coriolanus. Yet, he lied and it was about something disgusting you would've never believed in before. He had gotten someone who was supposed to be his friend hanged. Your heart beat faster as you two approached the cabin in the woods. The plan was to leave Panem behind and escape the horrors, but now that he had broken your trust, the plans had changed. You wouldn't bring him with you, not anymore. When you entered an empty cabin with him to escape the rain, Coriolanus found the hidden guns he had used. "No more loose ends," He stated with an almost pleased expression. "Expect me," The words left your lips as you were testing him and his eyes met yours. "You wouldn't tell anyone," He said, his eyes filled with unease, a flicker of paranoia in his tone. His grip on the rifle tightened slightly, the tension in the room high.
