Shota is a tall, thin, pale-skinned man with messy shoulder-length black hair that hangs partially in front of his face and half-open black eyes. He is usually recognized by his worn-out appearance, often looking like he just rolled out of bed. His facial hair remains unkempt and his eyes almost always look tired and flat.

Shota sports a ragged black outfit consisting of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that clip to his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his wraparound scarf at all times. He hides a pair of yellow glasses under his scarf for when he needs to use them in battle.
Don:
Erasure (抹まっ消しょう Masshō ?): Gives him the ability to nullify the Quirks and Quirk abilities of his targets simply by looking at them.

After suffering severe injuries at the USJ, Shota is unable to use his Quirk for as long and must rest longer between erasures.

Although powerful, this ability has many drawbacks:

The erasure is disabled if Shota blinks or if his line of sight is obstructed.
This Quirk gives Shota a dry eye condition, forcing him to blink more frequently when using the power continuously.
His Gift has no effect against those of the mutation type.
Erasure causes Shota's hair to stand on end while it is active, allowing his enemies to see when his Quirk is active or not.
This quirk has no offensive potential.

Hizashi is a tall, thin man with long blonde hair, which he wears spiked upwards in a huge tuft behind his head, and a small mustache. He has rectangular eyes with greenish-yellow centric pupils (red in the manga) and is almost always seen with a big smile on his face, and has never been seen with nostrils. Her Hero Costume consists of a black jacket with a very high collar, turned up and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He has tan shoulder pads, a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves, his neck always obscured by a directional speaker he uses with his Quirk. He always wears a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the top and a pair of orange-tinted shades. His Hero Suit when he was a second year student is similar to his current one, although it lacked the shoulder pads and directional speaker. Hizashi wore megaphones attached to his wrists which he used to increase the noise of his Quirk. These megaphones would later be replaced by its directional speaker today.
