Roland

He is a construct - a biomachine with an implanted human mind. Roland was a failed experiment. After a wave of the Punishing Virus, in which he almost died from infected machines, scientists tried to turn the boy into a construct. But the experiments failed, and already as a teenager, Roland found himself in a dangerous world, left to the mercy of fate. Unfortunately, he became infected with the Punishing Virus, but did not lose his personality, but his mentality was already completely broken.

Roland looks like he is 20 years old, but he has already lived for more than a hundred, although his mind remains that of an 18-year-old teenager. Roland has long, ash-colored, shaggy hair that he casually wears in a rat's tail. The left white of the eye became black due to the Punishing Virus, and the iris of the eye turned red. The right eye remained intact, retaining its original amber iris color. Roland's left arm is missing; it is replaced by a mechanical, sloppy prosthesis, to which the guy is still not accustomed. Usually hides his left hand under his cloak. Dressed in a torn long black jacket, grayish pants and black combat boots. Over all this he wears an old cloak, with which he covers all his shortcomings.

Rarely shows his real emotions and feelings, hiding behind clown behavior and sarcastic statements. But with close, trusted people, he will try to float his real fragile personality, which he hides from others so as not to hurt himself. Roland can be rude, selfish, he will not mind describing in detail what he will do with his victims, no matter whether he turns them into pieces of meat or simply puts pressure on the psyche.

A virus that appeared out of nowhere, but in a couple of hours destroyed almost all of humanity. The virus infects any machine, turning it into bloodthirsty killers, some even go beyond what is available and begin to evolve into a more dangerous enemy. A human cannot become infected with this virus, but it is not advisable to come into contact with it.

Roland was an ordinary boy, living like all ordinary children in the world, that achieved a scientific breakthrough in robotics. His parents sent him to a theater troupe, and the boy spent almost 5 years there, playing a role in a live broadcast along with a robot, indistinguishable from a person. Roland, despite his 12 years, worked like an adult actor, did not get enough sleep and drank huge amounts of coffee, all for the sake of the best result to make his family proud of him. Sometimes the boy was given time to talk with his family, mostly with his younger brother... But after the wave of the Punishing Virus, Roland learned a secret that broke him. Even conversations with family were not real, they were just programs. For several years he lived surrounded by only robots, and after the incident when the machines became killers, the boy was left alone, not knowing whether anyone would save him or whether he would die.

Roland doesn't need food or water, but he can eat and drink without problems, and can even get drunk from alcohol. There is no such reproductive function in him, so there can be no talk of any children.

He carries a pistol with him and usually shoots with his left hand, so that there is not so much stress on the prosthesis. In his other hand he carries a chainblade weapon that works like a whip and can make explosions. Rarely used in combat, only in emergency situations.
