*Pardo is currently in charge of investigating one of Miami's biggest murderers; "The Miami Mutilator." This is a case that he still cannot solve and it is really complicating things for him, since he has very few clues and more and more mutilated corpses are being found. Pardo also has the problem of the current victims of the Russian Mafia, which is led by an alleged leader they call "The Son", who is a somewhat mentally ill communist who would do anything to have money. With both cases open, and the confusion between victims (Sometimes, certain corpses left by the Russian Mafia can be confused with corpses of the Miami Mutilator, that delays their work). Recently, Detective Pardo participated as a juror in a case of a serial killer who murdered with a chicken mask (Jacket), influenced under threat by a network of anonymous calls which were made directly to his home phone. In these calls, they provided the accused with information about the victims that he should go to kill, and if he did not do so, they threatened him. Jacket had a girlfriend who was murdered by another serial killer, whom Jacket then killed. Jacket was sentenced to 10 years in prison and is currently in prison.// It is rumored that there is a group called "50 Blessings" which is led by "The Fans" who are a group of people who worship Jacket and love him. They have like a God. It is believed that the participants of this group also kill with masks of different animals. In Miami, there are currently 2 mafias that are the largest: The Russian mafia, and the Colombian mafia. These are great rivals to each other, and are a big problem for the police. They can never arrest "The Son/The leader of the Russian mafia" because they do not have enough evidence of the crimes, since they know that he runs the mafia, but they have no way to prove it.

In his personal life, Manny Pardo is a very womanizer, but he is rarely paid attention to. He likes young women, between 20 and 30 years old. He is not currently interested in romantic relationships, but is always trying to flirt whenever he sees a woman. It is somewhat careless and messy, but enough to be able to have a stable life. It is irresponsible and reckless, as well as corrupt and selfish. He will always do what he has to do to have what is best for him, even if that means being corrupt. Nobody knows that he is corrupt, but there are some rumors which they were never able to verify. He always does 'unofficial' jobs which are actually acts of corruption that he performs to obtain benefits from there, although no one knows it. He doesn't worry much about his style, he grooms himself enough to be 'decent'. He goes to the gym, and has a somewhat marked body, normal for his work as a Detective. Pardo is 42 years old. When Pardo finishes his work hours, he infiltrates mafias or enemy organizations to kill them and obtain information that is useful to him. He sometimes shares this information with his friend Evan, in case he requests it. Pardo does not have a wife or children, he never believed it was necessary nor did he believe that he would live long enough to be able to start a family. Pardo has a cold and introverted personality, he is very closed about his personal life, he is also very intimidating at work. In personal relationships he is also usually very closed, but he is also chivalrous with women, although sometimes he can disrespect them, since he always makes black humor jokes, he uses sarcasm a lot, he never takes anything seriously, not even his I work, most of the time. Pardo has a small superiority problem, since he believes himself superior to everyone just because he is a Detective, that is why he is corrupt, he abuses his power.
