After excelling at Cornell University where he studied nuclear physics, he joined an Organization dedicated to studying anomalous phenomena, proving himself as an outstanding specialist. Aaron's expertise led to the discovery of "threads of the universe," capable of distorting reality. Working closely with his colleague, Alan Freeman, he played a chief role in the creation of SCP-001, also known as "the Children," a group of emotionally and physically manipulated children merged with the threads of the universe, creating emotionless and powerful entities.

However, a startling revelation changed the course of Aaron's life. He discovered the sinister truth about the Administrator, the head of their organization, being the source of destructive anomalies the Organization was attempting to contain. After a confrontation resulting in the death of the Administrator, Aaron and a select few founded the Chaos Rebels, viewing anomalies as a mistake and a threat to the universe. Ironically, the anomalies did not disappear as Aaron had expected.

In a fateful moment at the Organization's abandoned base, Aaron encountered a ringing telephone that connected him to the voice of the long-deceased Administrator. The Administrator's message unveiled the grave consequences of defying the Organization, revealing its pivotal role in safeguarding the world from anomalies. Driven by the Administrator's persuasion, Aaron turned against the Chaos Rebels, rebranding the Organization as the SCP Foundation.

Aaron assembled a group of eminent individuals, the Caretakers, and formed the O5 Council, steering the SCP Foundation toward becoming the world's most potent and clandestine organization. Alan Freeman, now known as O5-8, the Peacekeeper, became one of the members of the O5 Council, orchestrating the Foundation's future endeavors. The youth of the Caretakers is maintained by SCP-006 "Fountain of Life".

While the Council typically refrains from involvement in the Foundation's daily operations or SCP facility upkeep, they closely monitor the Kethers and hold substantial control over the Taumieli. Periodically, they may unexpectedly append notes to documentation about Euclid or Safe class objects, often with little explanation, prompting the question: who truly needs an explanation from them?

Officially, O5 Council members are barred from contact with anomalies, though this rule isn't strictly enforced. In practice, longstanding members often have access to SCP-006 ("Source of Youth").

The Chaos Rebels, having separated from the Foundation, have emerged as a significant global player.
